When I was looking into trading in my B7 Alpina I went to test drive the Chevrolet Camaro this dealership had, multi day ordeal, as a salesman kept the car and keys with him at all times. I finally get there on a lunch break to look at/drive car, only to be told by the same salesman, it's heavily modified, you aren't going to drive this, it's to fast you can't handle it. Considering my b7 Alpina had 540 hp, 0-60 in 3.5 seconds. I think the salesman just didn't want to give up his free ride from the dealership. read more

Gotta say that 5 stars doesn't seem like enough, and even breaking down at rest stop in the middle of nowhere. I would say they make it feel like it should be that way everywhere, and that's truly a understatement in my personal opinion. Brian was quick to look into our Ram that was dropped off in the middle of the night, and when we called them he was already working on it. Maybe this is how it is in all small towns or maybe these people genuinely are exceptional. I brought my jeep in here because of a check engine light that kept going on and off. I was driving 14+ hours to ny the next morning and wanted to make sure I wouldn't get stranded anywhere. I didn't think it was anything serious bc the car seemed to be running fine. I didn't make an apt and just went in as a walk-in around lunch time. Turns out they were 100% booked and didn't have time to even look at my car, much less fix whatever may be wrong with it. But when i told them about my drive to ny they checked it out. Turns out I needed some semi-serious work done and they recommended that i have it fixed before starting the 1000mile drive. Even tho I didn't have an apt and they were fully booked, they fixed my car and even checked all the other fluids and things ot make sure I wouldn't have any other problems. I left my car with the overnight, packed full of all my stuff and I didn't worry at all that anything would be stolen. The repair ended up costing a few hundred dollars which seemed very reasonable. No extra charge for squeezing me in at the last minute either. highly recommended!! read more

We have always been more than pleased with our routine service and continue to be impressed with their courtesy and professionalism!! I recently had a question about our towing package , and the manager of the service department followed me outside to demonstrate how it was to be used. He patiently addressed all my questions. Need car repairs? I highly recommend Goeckner Bros. We were traveling home from vacation, on our last day, when the Alternator decided to quit. We were stranded on Interstate 57 just outside Effingham, Il. Did not know a thing about garages, pulled this company off the internet, and had a pleasant experience. They checked my car over and verified the bad alternator. Of course no one in town had one for my car(a Kia) but the garage ordered one in overnight, put me in front of some of their other customers and had me on the way home by 10:00AM the next morning. When I asked if they had a courtesy driver that could take us to a hotel, they gave me a car to use instead. I was not overcharged at all, as a matter of fact, my mechanic at home, said It was really close to his charges. I was really impressed with this garage. read more
