After posting my honest review Goemans finally escalated my issue to the proper department and exchanged the faulty dryer within 3 weeks of my first post. I'm glad the issue is FINALLY resolved after over 6 months of fighting for an exchange. It should have never gotten to the point it did and unfortunately I wasn't the only one with this type of experience. Not having a dryer for such a long period had been inconvenient to say the least! Adding 1 star for the person who set my case in motion for resolution & the friendly truckers. I hope my review can bring awareness and contribute to better training and policies, ultimately to improve customer satisfaction for future customers. read more

‼ WARNING ‼ ‼DON'T BUY WITH GOEMANS‼ I bought a Samsung Dishwasher just 2 years ago and now the dishwasher is not working anymore. The Samsung Technician came over to check the dishwasher, and found that the person who came to install our dishwasher completely messed up the installation. The technician said that whoever installed the dishwasher had messed up the installation and damaged the dishwasher's main tub and caused leakage all over the circuit board throughout our time of using it. The dishwasher has got damaged with the wiring, the motor and main board... due to the poor installation. I tried to call the Goemans customer service and I was told nothing can be done or help! I was very disappointed with their irresponsible response and poor customer service and I feel so helpless and shocked that I have to buy another dishwasher in just 2 years, my old GE dishwasher had been use for 10 years, I do not expect the new Samsung can only be used for 2 years only because of the poor installation by Goemans. And the customer service is such irresponsible and poor. I shall share this bad experience to all the people I know and on all social platforms so no other victim will have same terrible experience as I did. read more

Originally we tried to have our service issue resolved privately through email in a bid for the company to see where they had gone wrong. That did not work and we had to publicly post bad reviews for someone else within the company to reach out and try to provide service recovery. We have been refunded a second delivery charge that was not warranted and that is why there is an updated review giving one additional star. read more

Ordered the stove in May and told it will be delivered in July 7th. Got the run around for the past two months and finally we will give you a loaner. Today sept 23rd got the loaner. See pictures. Filthy, still has food residue from previous customer. After spending over $15K on new appliances this is very disappointing. Simply put Goremans appliances SUCK BALLs. Spent over 35k with them. Picked up fan inset for a kitchen Reno. Box was sealed. Opened the box when ready and it was damaged. No ownership at all and sent me to the manufacturer. Stay away at all costs!!!!! read more

Drove from Scarborough to this location. A lady answered the door letting us know we needed an appointment due to Covid. We asked if we could we wait for an availability in the parking lot (which was nearly empty). She then asked what we were looking for. We replied that we are browsing for kitchen appliances. She said you must not be serious if you're "browsing". We were turned away, with a new born baby in stroller, and unbeknownst to her a budget of 15k in appliances for our complete kitchen renovation. read more

We bought 8 pieces of appliances for our new kitchen. Melly Shum was our sales agent. Not only is she knowledgeable about her products, she is also very professional. We never felt pushed or rushed into making any decisions. In ordered to satisfy our need, Melly went into great depth to help us find good products at a large discount such as display model, end of the line products, repossession due to store closure etc. With her help, we have managed to save 10k amongst 8 high to mid end appliances. We had to reschedule delivery multiple times due to delay. The logistics department was very good about rescheduling and confirmation. I took away one star because one item was missing in the delivery. I had to rush them to bring it due to scheduled installation. Otherwise, it was a very positive experience shopping at Goemans. Melly has made appliances shopping fun and has helped me purchases high end products without paying top prices. read more

After service for warranty is the worst I've seen. The most unprofessional experience ever. It's now been 8 days of me calling to get my fridge serviced and no response, no service, just promises from customer service. They sell you extended warranty then have no interest in following through. Never will I buy anything from this company again. Forced to give 1 star but they don't deserve that. read more

I bought appliances there and delivery is being pushed back for the second time. I paid so I'm getting the run around being told that it's the suppliers fault. I tried explaining them that I didn't do business with the supplier but now that they have my payment I'm not a priority. I wouldn't recommend them if you are in a hurry. read more

If you have to buy from them, pray to god that nothing goes wrong, because if it does, get ready for extreme frustration. My delivery was on Oct 17th, noticed the missing knob on my stove right away. Today is Dec 4th, part remains missing. No followup nor update from them, as they are acting like everything's done perfectly. So many calls but nothing gets done. I wonder how difficult it is to send me a missing part with correct colour?? every time I call, i had to repeat the story over and over again. One customer service guy told me the knob would arrive in 3-5 business days, one week later I called in, another would told me Nothing has been shipped, they waiting for GE response. Another week passed by, a third guy would tell me that they ordered the wrong colour so they had to reorder it, one more week later, the 4th guy told me that I didn't have any order to be shipped. We purchased over $30,000 in high-end kitchen appliances about 18 months ago. Since that time, we have had to endure the most incompetent and unresponsive service imaginable. Goemans' customer service is the worst we have ever encountered! We have to phone repeatedly to get anything done and then learn that they have been sitting on the problem for almost 2 weeks and did nothing about the problem. Their inaction is inexcusable! This is a pattern that repeats over and over again. This time it is in relation to the dishwasher, last time it was the refrigerator and prior to that, the wine cooler. Each time, we have had to call numerous times before anything was done and wait weeks before action was taken. Promises to get back to us are never followed through. In the meantime, I am now without a working dishwasher and Goeman's doesn't seem to care. We will NEVER shop at Goeman's again nor will be ever recommend them to anyone! Tasco will be our appliance store of choice from now on. read more

If I could give this company 0 stars I would. The fridge I bought would not open properly. I had to wait 10 sec for seal to relax to open the fridge the second time. After a yr of going back and forth with this company they tell me that it just the way the fridge is made. Stay away from Goemans. read more

On Sept 25 I had purchased a stackable washer and dryer from this company only to have my dryer break down 2 weeks later! My stackable is a whirlpool! Ever since then I have had to fight tooth and nail for a replacement or fix of my machine and NOTHING has been done! I have called Goemans time and time again for help even had to speak to manager and I've been told that my warranty now has NOTHING to do with them anymore and I now have to take it up with whirlpool! I have suggested to have my stackable replaced and be done with it or get my money back and they have completely refused both! This company has had horrifying reviews everywhere I've looked them up and if only I did my homework before being recommended by someone I WOULD NEVER have bought anything from them! Its a disgrace how this company is still in business and this is how they conduct themselves! I have basically been told they wash their hands the minute the appliance is out of their hands and now I need to take it up with whirlpool! I am livid, repulsed and so angry at what has happened to me! I have basically become a victim of 2 horrible companies selling so called "brand New" appliances that brake down in 2 weeks! Really getting frustrated. We ordered a washing machine and dryer On October 5th and the later a week later. It is now November 11 and still nothing. I have called the distributor/delivery and they have not responded and I am still waiting for the store to call back too. They said they would call back today with more information. The excuse was that the manufacturer has had delays. Why is a company selling products that are not available is my question? Sonal is very knowledgeable. He answered all our questions promptly but provided space for us to think things through before making a decision.
