The caliber of teaching I got here is worth five stars.
The price, though, earns two stars.
It's impossible to put objective value on a course, but they do charge quite a bit for four months of Saturdays. Compare Dublin to the Goethe Institut in Accra, where I'm about to move; classes are 1/8 of the price and include 1/3 more teaching time.
I think I lucked out big time with the teacher here - she was always prepared, enthusiastic, thorough, patient, and lovely. She helped us all make leaps and bounds of progress. The days we had substitutes were truly dreary in comparison. Do see if you're at the right level to be taught by Tanja when you sign up for classes.
As a teacher myself, I enjoyed my time in Tanja's classroom as an exemplar of great teaching. Without her, I wouldn't have gotten an incredible score on my end-of-pre-intermediate exam - I hope she gets a big bonus!
