I was going to an actual spa for this until they closed down. When I saw Palm beach offered it, I was SO excited. Don't. be. excited. I will tell you why. The bed is located right under a speaker they play on the main floor as the room they placed the bed is open to the outside hallway. MEANWHILE their sauna room (which I never see anyone in) has the enclosed room, along with the spray tan and stand up tanning room. SO DUMB. IF you thought you'd relax here, think again. You will be listening to 32-count body pump meets 2000's club music style music. It is beyond annoying. They USED to turn music off or even down per request, and lately said corporate won't let them. If you think you're gonna block out music with headphones, you best have expensive ones, bc regular ones won't cut it. You, like I, will leave your 40 minute session more stressed than when you walked in. I no longer refer friends or family here. It is not spa like and just not relaxing AT ALL.. Honestly..at this point I question whether the benefits of red light is greater than the damage of the stress it produces by being there. Pass on this location. ps. The workers are all awesome. If I do decide to stop coming I will genuinely miss seeing their faces weekly.

Today is Monday. I followed their instructions to the T. And I'm already having splotchy places on my legs. As soon as I did my rents, I started with a product I bought from them, which was expensive moisturizer and to help the Tan blend and look nicely And I asked for the dark side of medium. My stomach, my sides in my back, hardly looked hand at all, my arms and my legs, dead, and my face. Also, one month membership is $80. You can lay in the red lights for free but then it's like 30 bucks on top of that to Tan. I don't like the fact that you have to make an appointment to Tan. They do have many mini beds, but even with $80 a month I can only use two other beds. The other I guess better nicer beds are not included in that price. And I'm sure there's people that don't mind paying. Their location has a lot to do with the pricing I think. But I chose The Place because it's only 3 miles from where I live. I've gotten a spray tan where a person actually did it and it was much better.

I bought a unlimited month here and even renewed and they wouldn't give me a discount on heavily marked up lotion. Not a good way to make customers repeat their business. If you want to upgrade to a nicer bed it starts getting really pricey. Don't buy your lotion here as they are way too expensive. I buy mine online and save quite a bit of money. My real problem with this place is that I was told by the girl running the front desk that if I bring a friend in who buys a package I would get a free upgrade to a nicer bed. Just one upgrade on one day...... Doesn't seem like a huge expense on the business...... I brought a friend in, she bought a package and then they wouldn't upgrade me. I asked for the manager and of course she wasn't there and they said that the girl who told me that moved to another state. I asked for the manager to call me and of course he/she didn't. Could even tell me on the phone that this wasn't something they could do. Just didn't call at all. Do what you say you are going to do.....If you cant stand true to your word then what good are you?? If the wrong information was communicated to me, fine, tell me that. Don't hide from a customer. This place needs new management or something. I will not be bringing ANYONE else to this place. I hate that they are so close to me, otherwise, I wouldn't come here at all.

After over a year of being quiet I feel the need to speak up to eliminate the possibility of…read moresomeone being in my position. I called to schedule filler consult for my under eyes and the receptionist ( I wish I could remember her name) was such a sweetheart! They were able to get me in fairly quickly! The downside is Dr. Summer. She came in and already had selected the filler we were going to use. She did not discuss why she chose that filler or anything about it. In her defense, I should've asked. But I was trusting in her. We move onto the procedure and she used the canula technique to minimize bruising however she jabbed it into my under eye, she said it was difficult to get it in bc I had thicker tissue in that area - which is not the reason it hurt. My new doctor has done my under eyes twice, both pain free. I get faint around needles sometimes so I was starting to feel faint and hot and I let her and the assistant know. The assistant was a brunette woman who was very kind and patient. She got me an ice pack and reclined me. However, Dr. Summers rushed me to recover. I was still hot and faint when I gave her the OK to proceed since she seemed to be in a hurry. This experience was traumatic. I was on the verge of crying between feeling faint, nauseous, and rushed by Dr. Summers. After the visit I enjoyed my under eye look! No more tired right? Well yeah no more tired but what about the blue and yellow bruising that never went away? My new doctor informed me my bruising never went away bc my under eye area was over filled and I should've used a filler that was less dense. My new doctor is Dr. Dulce Mascariñas and she dissolved the filler placed by Dr. Summers and a month later refilled my eyes with half a syringe and then finished the remaining product another month later. Thanks to her I finally look refreshed. I do not think Dr. summers is a bad doctor. Maybe she was having a bad day, we all do. However the care I received is NOT one I ever desire to have again. Always ask your Dr why and what filler they are going to use. And do not let them push you to recover from fainting. I've had a few cosmetic procedures and have never experienced anything like this.
