I was really impressed with this limo company. I reserved online and called a couple days before to confirm. Everyone was very pleasant to work with. On the day of our service the driver called to tell me when he was close. When he arrived he took a picture of our group and even had a bottle of champagne chilling for us. I really appreciate all the extra effort. Once we were on our way I mentioned that we were not sure what to do for lunch. He had a menu and said he could drop us off at the next place and go pick it up for us. This was super helpful and therefore we did not waste any time and got to spend our time wine tasting. We met Gold Coast Limo's at 10.15am and were ferried around to 4 different wineries, with a picnic lunch at one. Leading up to this FAB day, my friend found communicaiton with Phil to be easy, fast & efficient. The day of we were delighted with Edward, our limo driver, who provided outstanding service - it made the whole day so so enjoyable. Had a good experience with this company last Saturday morning. We did an approx 4 hour tour of local wineries that we had previously picked out. Our tour guide was Mark and he was prompt at our hotel waiting for us in a very nice comfortable, clean & spacious Sedan limo. He was quite knowledgable about the area and the wineries and easy to talk to. We just told him where we wanted to go and he got us there with no problems. We were able to do 5 different tastings in the allotted time then head back towards our hotel. Top notch no issues, prices pretty comp, I had an old credit from a previously purchased and expired Travel Zoo, they gave me the paid value with no issues. We purchased a travel zoo voucher for a birthday outing in Santa Ynez to go wine tasting for Gold Coast and it left me a bit disappointed. The office was extremely efficient and set everything up and confirmed all the details wonderfully, but the actual experience didn't really meet my expectations. We had about 7 other passengers with us, who were also delightful and made the trip fun, but they too were disappointed. The original Travel Zoo deal was $69 for a regular cost of $169, so we were really excited about the great value. It was to include a 4-5 hour tour which included 3 wineries with tastings, a sandwich lunch, and a bottle of champagne. We have been on several tours, so we have others to compare to this one. The driver arrived late and we had to call the office to confirm he was still going to show. Upon arrival he was friendly and gave a quick review of the stops, and at no time did he mention that we should tip the wine server at each stop, a point that I will review later. We had plenty of time to get acquainted with the other passengers and we all quickly became friends. At the second stop, we had our tastings and then went out to have our picnic lunch. We all found seats at tables on the patio, but the driver asked us to move to the picnic tables. which was fine, but most of us were in dresses and it was a bit uncomfortable. I purchased a bottle of wine inside to share with everyone, which he commented on....guess he thought it was a weird thing to do. He presented us with lovely white travel food boxes, but when we opened the boxes, they had a subway sandwich with a bag of chips.....just thought a deli sandwich would have been more appropriate, but again... that is what I have had on other tours. several passengers purchased wine, which he stored in the trunk of the limo, but then he parked it in the sun. One of the passengers nicely asked him to move it to the shade so that their wine would not be spoiled....he said he had the air on in the car and it would be fine. When she checked to verify what he had said.... the limo was still parked in the sun and she had to ask him again to move to save the wine. I asked if it was alight for us to drink the champagne.... he said " Really?.... You want to drink more?" We were at the second winery and only one person was even slightly tipsy not to mention, that is why you get a limo is so that you have a designated driver. I explained that everyone had been asking about it and we all wanted to have some....we had 1 bottle to split 9 ways!!!! Really? At the last stop, I tipped him out and he asked what the money was for.... I told him that was his tip. He then saw money which had been left on the counter for the tasting service and he picked that up and asked what that was....... one of our passengers explained that was the tip I had left for the wine service. He promptly came to me and said I shorted him $1.75 on the tip and he had to turn it in to the office. Not sure I understood why he had to turn it in, but that is not my business, the sad thing is.... I would have tipped much more, being in the service industry myself, but I just didn't feel that it had been earned. He did drop us off in Los Olivos as we request with others from our group....we asked what he thought the cost of a cab would be to get us back to our hotels... he said about $5.... it cost us $40! The Limo was lovely, the wineries were great, it was simply the service during the day, sharing one bottle of cheap champagne between 9 people and the subway sandwiches that cheapened the trip. Had I paid full price, I would have been very upset.... in this case..... just very disappointed and I cannot recommend the company... sorry. read more

Best ever! I am beyond satisfied with gold coast! I was looking for a cool 21st birthday surprise for my brother and gold coast did it above and beyond. - First- I called a couple different limo/party bus places to get price quotes gold coast was the best price and the most flexible they didn't mind coming at the half hour and didn't have a time minimum during the week. - Second - I was probably a very annoying customer but Jonathan over the phone was SUPER accommodating. I swear I called almost everyday to change something times days this and that and every time he was so friendly! -Third- I don't live in the same area as my brother so I didn't go on the bus but he was super surprised and said this was the most fun he had ever had. Judging from the pictures it looks like everyone had an absolute blast. They couldn't stop talking about how cool their driver was too! He came on time and really added to the whole experience! My brother said the bus itself was awesome striped pole and champagne included! And from the pictures I saw it looks like they had a lot of fun using the pole! Had my birthday celebration this past Friday visiting the wineries in Santa Ynez Valley. Jonathan was amazing as our driver! He picked us up at our hotel in Santa Barbara and was friendly and accommodating from the start. My boyfriend and I go wine tasting all the time so we are kind of picky about where we go and what we do. Luckily, our driver was super knowledgeable about wine and gave us a lot of great suggestions and tips. He really went above and beyond to make sure we had a good day. The voucher said that pick up would be at a restaurant in Los Olivos, but the owner of the company offered to have our driver pick us up at our hotel in Solvang, free of charge, to make it easier which was a much appreciated bonus!! We used Gold Coast Limousines for a bachelorette party wine tasting day trip. I spoke with Jonathan on the phone to book the trip and he was very helpful. He gave me winery recommendations that followed a logical route. He also emailed me links to places I could order lunch from and told me the limo driver could pick the lunch up while we were tasting at one of the wineries. A few days before the event the limo driver checked out the pick-up location and was worried about getting the bus up to the place given the windy roads. We talked through it and he was able to find an alternate route and was able to get the bus to the house. The driver on the day of was very accommodating given our large group and made sure we were to each winery on time. We took the train up from Union Station, Mark met us in the long black limo, cracked open a bottle of champage and we were off! I purchased a voucher from Travelzoo for a wine tasting for my boyfriend and me. Redeeming the voucher was super easy and convenient. Phil and Jonathan are great! The limo arrived on time. Our driver was Rich. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. About the Wine Tour: There was Champagne (Cook's) on ice. and bottled water chilling inside the limo. The limo was clean and spacious. The first winery we visited was okay The lady pouring the wine was not very friendly and quite unwelcoming. The stop at this winery was much too long for my taste. I wish the time at this winery were cut in half to allow for a visit to another winery. The following two stops were nice and the time spent was appropriate. The Fess Parker winery is very nice, and I recommend it remain in the itinerary. Box lunches were served at this winery. Lunch was okay (Subway sandwiches, chips and bottled water). We ate outdoors on the patio on a beautiful day with our new-found friends in our limo party. It was great and we had great laughs! In summary: I would highly recommend this excursion to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, bridal showers or just for a girl's weekend! I planned a weekend in Solvang/Santa Ynez for my boyfriend and I, but this was my first time visiting the area and I had NO IDEA where to start when it came to planning a wine tasting tour. I called Gold Coast Limos and not only did they have vehicles that could accommodate my group but they were awesome at helping me with the days itinerary and schedule. I worked with both Phil and Johnathan and they are both extremely nice and helpful. We used Gold Coast Limousines for a bachelorette wine tasting day-trip. They exceeded my expectations. Our driver, John, was so friendly and polite and considerate! He always had the bus waiting for us (pulled up so we didn't have to walk far) as we pushed our limits on making it to the next wine appointment on time (getting 14 women together to leave is a nightmare). He ordered sandwiches and picked them up for us. He dealt with me being a little all over the place (organization wise) and was an excellent driver. At our last wine stop he brought us the rest of the bottled waters from the van all the way to our picnic table because it was such a hot day and he figured we'd need them (SO THOUGHTFUL). I just could not have asked for a better experience.
