He charged me a…read more$50 copay and then when I got my EOB from the insurance , it showed amount they paid Hung Nguyen, and my share $0, a zero copay. He refused to refund after I advised him so I had to dispute it with my credit card to get my money back.. If him thinking he is entitled to be paid twice isn't bad enough.. He examined my eyes and put contacts on me that were totally wrong in strength. Scheduled to go back a week later to have him see what he did wrong and mysteriously their phones did not work when I tried to call...Thank You Jesus! Now the blessing. So I went to see doctor Gold in Palestine , and had my eyes examined and did not need glasses or contacts.. Most people don't have the 5+ hours into recovering $50. I'm a retired senior living on social security , so I have all the time in the world where most working people would have let him keep the money , because they don't have the time to recover what is their's. After numerous calls to the insurance and finally getting a copy of the explanation of benefits and then having to upload it to my credit card to get this resolved , it's very time consuming. Remember when you have insurance, your insurance dictates how much you pay at each visit. Not the doctor's office.. Only pay what your insurance company tells you to pay, Not what the doctor's office ask for! The doctor's office is contractually bound by their agreement with your insurance company.

In the end, I went with his first recommendation! I have gone to Dr. Nguyen for several years and highly recommend him! He takes walk-ins as well as appointments. I have done both. As a walk-in you easily get worked in quickly.
