Everything was nicely set up and presented really, really well. They might not have had a lot of flavors left over because they sold out a lot, but other than that, the employees were really nice . Around here, they call it a creemee--a local twist I quickly picked up on as I listened to the locals eagerly waiting for their names to be called along with their favorite flavors. Naturally, I had to go with the maple creemee. I mean, when in Vermont, how can you not try something maple? One bite in, and I was sold. It's not quite like traditional soft-serve--the texture is smoother, silkier on the tongue, and the maple flavor was rich without being overly sweet. I also couldn't resist grabbing a maple soda and some maple candy while I was at it. (Hey, don't judge--did I mention how long that hike was?)
