"A Better Finish" is "A No Finish." This contractor walked away from a project, leaving behind…read moreunfinished rooms, crooked, unusable sheetrock, gaps everywhere, wrong board on bathroom walls and floors. New contractor needs to redo large portions of their work. They provided an estimate of a budget that they blew through by nearly a double. They signed a contract saying the project would take a handful of weeks. And here we are, many months later... and "A Better Finish" walked off the job. They are a disgrace to their profession. If you, after reading this comment, choose to hire this contractor, do yourself a favor and make sure they are never ahead of you financially because THEY WILL NOT COMPLETE their work. They will overcharge and they will underdeliver. They will blow through your budget with no remorse. Just as long as they get paid handsomely, daily. They turned a promising home and art studio that were supposed to bring joy to people who hired them... into an unfinished shell of despair. Not only did he fit us in as quickly as possible to help get us back on track, but his pricing was incredible. I needed a window right away and was told by a neighbor that a window would be minimum $700. I knew I couldnt afford $700, but had to see what could be done! Michael came to the house and inspected the window. A week later i had my window installed and considering there is nothing level in my house, the window was installed so precisely you cannot tell that there was a level problem in the house!
