Arthur was the live music for the day and he played a great variety of songs (acoustic guitar). The wine is fantastic. I do not know a lot about wine, but I do know that each one we tasted (6) was very easy to drink. We shared a bottle there and I brought 2 home. Bonus: you can bring your own snacks (no beverages). I love this. I enjoy planning my own winery snacks. I was bummed when many wineries quit allowing food because they opened kitchens. So if I have to pay $30+ for food. I'm buying less wine. Let me just say, I am very disappointed that the woman won't give the deposit back from Bonita Valley Dance Barn and wedding Venue. The pictures on Facebook make it look spectacular, but in person it is a dump. I get you are in the country and it's a barn, but who knew we were going to have to drive past a makeshift mobile home trailer with what looked like a junk yard parked outside, with campers, tractors, chicken coops, all around. The barn itself was covered in cobwebs (although they said there was a wedding there last weekend) yeah, right! And the chairs and media equipment had inches of thick dust. The netting draped through the rafters looked yellow as if they hadn't been changed in years and they were infested with bug carcasses. The light bulbs were scantily present and as you walk in there is a trap on the ground. The owner said it was for a "skunk " that was loose in the barn. Gross!!! Along with the skunk, there were rabbits running around loose in the barn. The smell was indicative of something either living in there or had died in there. The kitchen was a joke. If a caterer came in there they would run the other way. There was no oven and a refrigerator not big enough to hold a gallon of sweet tea. Walk outside and the grass is knee high and around the wooden cross were wooden pews that were rotten, gray and dilapidated. The furniture in the "bride's" dressing area was a couch dated back to the 60's and the fabric was so dirty, I was afraid to touch it. The tables to serve on were pallets nailed to four wooden posts. They were uneven and rough. I could go on and on, but I don't want to seem like a bride momzilla . I just want people to be kind and give this young couple their money back. Oh yes, and she said to make sure that I added that the cost was $710 for a 2-day venue...Thursday and Friday... well, Now we all know why...we were paying for SHIT and shit is cheap! I would be embarrassed to have family and friends come to this place!

My son is a freshman at SEMO, and we had booked a shuttle to take him from campus to the St. Louis airport after an incredibly difficult week--he had to travel home for his father's funeral. Plans unexpectedly shifted when his university stepped in to handle his travel arrangements, requiring us to cancel the shuttle. When I called, the team at STL Shuttle Service was incredibly understanding and compassionate given our sudden family loss, handling our cancellation with so much grace and empathy. Their kindness during one of the hardest moments of our lives meant the world to us. They absolutely have a customer for life, and my son will be using them for all of his airport trips over the next four years. However, Bryan was very responsive and extremely helpful throughout the entire process including booking. We booked a round trip and were able to get picked up/ dropped off at a nearby location from the airport (not listed on their drop down menu) which was honestly very helpful and saved us the stress in finding another form of transportation. We also had a very last minute request for a later pickup and Bryan was able to accommodate our request, very thankful for that. The shuttle was clean and comfortable and our drivers both trips were very kind, punctual, professional, and knowledgeable with the areas we traveled to/from. Would absolutely recommend booking with STL! Thank you again Bryan and team!

We went to the family fun center when they opened at noon on the Friday (probably the last early…read moreFriday of the summer schedule), after most kids went back to school, so basically had the whole place to ourselves except for the bowling area. Having no lines for anything was wonderful. The prices for the activities were decent if you paid for the 4 hour pass. Our family went on the go karts, bounce houses, laser tag, bumper boats. We also paid extra to put money on arcade cards to play some games. I thought there was mini golf, but we didn't see it. Some things to note, if you are tall enough to drive the go karts, you cannot go on the bounce houses, however, you can go on the wipeout activity. Also, if you are under the age of three, you cannot go on the bounce houses or do anything at all except for arcade games and the little mini children's area with the free bounce house. I thought the prices for the food and drinks were a little pricey, especially the drinks because they are not refillable. You cannot bring outside food or drinks in and your kids will get thirsty going on the bounce houses. Also, allow for extra time because as soon as you get there, you need to fill out a waiver for every single person in your party even even if they are not doing anything, the kids were able to be on one waiver but you still have to fill out the information for each child which can take time if you have a larger party. One thing that our family did enjoy, was the Christian music playing, and we saw some other Christian verses and such around the establishment. All in all, the kids all had a great time and would want to go back. With the prices, and our large family, it isn't something that we would go back to often, but maybe once a year for some fun.

I went up to ask the heavier set female worker to put bumpers up and she continued to say we were too old for bumpers. Didn't know there was an age limit?? For such a place to be bought by a church, you'd think the workers would be more friendly and understanding instead of judging others. If I could've rated them ZERO stars, I would've. 10/10 DO NO RECOMMEND!!!
