My original "lawyer" Gerald Dunne, while taking me out to multiple lunch dates, did little to nothing on my case. In fact, passed it off to another attorney without my knowledge. A month ago the case was finally settled. Yet, I have yet to receive a breakdown and reduction of my bills. In fact, the only communication I have been able to get from them is their persistence on me signing a power of attorney form so that they can deposit my money into the firm's account. I contacted GeraldDunned a week ago and he said that he was waiting on one provider( this was after I had a meeting with him and the "new attorney" on Jan 23r when I was assured by Gerald Dunne that he would have the breakdown of the bills for me with a couple of weeks. I spoke with him tonight via text and he had no new information for me. Only a note to sign the POA. At his point I am convinced that this firm's specialty is to do as little work as possible and try and get the client to sign the POA before giving them a final number so that they can get most of the money absolutely undeserved!!! I will keep this updated. So that no one has to go through what I am going through.

However, whenever we had the occasional question, magically our attorney was ALWAYS out. And if that weren't enough, they wouldn't return the phone calls, except one time in months of service. Our first attorney was all of a sudden no longer at the firm, it wasn't a shock to us. However, our second attorney, was worse! I got a hold of him once! I finally had to call and ask for services to be terminated three times! Finally, I spoke to I believe Kluecher, one of the managing partners starting with a K, and he said he'd "personally mail out a letter of termination of services today." This was on February 12, 2014. We just received that letter this week dated June 20, 2014. I find it pathetic that this business doesn't treat its clients with respect, nor do they provide the services one needs from an attorney. Don't waste your time! Find a PRACTICING attorney, as in one that will actually work for you. It's your tragedy, don't complicate it with unprofessional fools. I wouldn't send my dog here for services, and I always make sure that everyone knows not to seek the services of this firm. The best part of the place was the poor paralegal who had to constantly apologize for the lawyers' lack of professionalism. As a highly educated woman, I have no time to suffer incompetence.
