The architecture is Milanese style and originally part of the nearby Italian Embassy before opening as a luxury hotel in 2008 after a long restoration. It's located a few blocks from a huge and beautiful park, in the most luxury shopping area of Istanbul, with lots of high-end shops like Gucci and Hermès nearby. But what I really like about the area is it also has many cool little indie shops, ice cream parlors, fruit stands and fun neighborhood coffee shops nearby as well, so it has a fun local character as well. The crowd in the surrounding neighborhood is young, upscale, hip and diverse. After waking around Nişantaşı (where the hotel is located), one of my local friends said to me, "Now you know what rich Istanbul is like." :D The staff make this hotel absolutely incredible and Ibrahim at the front desk is great. Also, Leyla Kiper with guest services is exceptional. She was so wonderful when she greeted me at reception and is funny and caring. Leyla is a real asset to the hotel. Some of the hotel rooms even have their own private hammam in the bathroom with a steam shower. The beds are extremely comfortable. Rooms also feature a special faucet with filtered water. The hotel gym is exceptional and is very glitzy and high-tech. I really enjoyed using the beautifully maintained equipment. Breakfast is one of the best hotel breakfasts that I've had in Turkey with traditional Turkish dishes offered as well as fantastic pastries, and healthy juices. Basically anything you could ask for. The pool is more of a lap pool and looks pretty but it's definitely usable. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel, especially if you enjoy upscale modern luxury hotels, like high-end shopping but want to be in an area that feels affluent and local but not very touristy.

They have entrees to prepare for you as well as a large buffet spread. Fresh juice and coffees brought to your table! There is a lovely park just a block away that we walked through twice. If I'm ever back in Istanbul, I'm staying at the Park Hyatt.

We are within walking distance of main boutiques, shops and restaurants. The crowd is diverse and as a tourist I feel very comfortable and safe. The staff have been wonderful and helpful. The only issue we have had was figuring out how to work the AC. There is also a lot of amenities we have not taken advantage of, like a gym and bathhouse. There is a restaurant on the main floor of the hotel, Big Chefs and the food is so good. It has really come in handy and we have ate breakfast/brunch there the past two days before we take on the city. I'm really sad to be leaving, but we have already extended our stay one more night! I will be back to Istanbul and this place has made my trip really enjoyable.

I asked to speak with the actual manager and was promised (again by the Sales Manager Ms Funda) that he would see me after he arrives (he gets in to the office around 11 AM each day I was told). But guess what? He didn't show up. BUT Ms Funda did tell me he was very sorry. Time will tell how sorry he actually is......

It's a pretty good value as well and it's centrally located if you want to explore the Taksim area and walk around. Good choice for Istanbul.

After arriving from the airport, the helpful bell staff whisked my bags away for me and I checked in quickly and easily with the friendly front desk staff. The bellman carried my bags to my room and gave me a quick overview, which was very helpful. The room was spotless and thoughtfully laid out. There was a nice desk which I used for work, a nice lounge chair, and comfortable bed with plenty of lights. There was a TV which I didn't turn on. The bathroom was huge, with a nice soaking tub and a freestanding shower. The toilet was in a nook off to the left and it came with a bidet sprayer on the side. The amenities were great...they didn't have a strong smell which I appreciated because some hotels have shampoos/soaps with such strong scents, it makes my eyes water. These were nice and subtle. I slept very well in the bed. The pillows were very comfortable (not too soft) and the room was dark and quiet at night. Staff everywhere were helpful and kind. I didn't have a chance to use amenities like the breakfast that was included in my rate, nor the gym or pool area but everything looked great. I want to come back just to use the pool! The location is terrific...just a few minutes walk to Taksim Square, where you can find plenty of restaurants as well as the Metro. Traffic is so crazy in Istanbul that you can often save time with the Metro...I live in New York so riding the subway here is like living in the lap of luxury. It's so clean and orderly and it doesn't smell! My room had a Bosphorus view, which costs extra but is worth it. I really enjoyed my stay here from the room, to the location to the excellent service. A number of sections in the hotel live up to the modern, high standards of the W brand while other amenities fall very short for a 2023 version of a W hotel. Naming the things that I felt amazing about hotel, the hospitality was easy a 10 out of 10. Each and every staff member was amazing and made sure to cater to my every need. There was even an employee who went above and beyond to help me with public transportation by loaning me his transport card. That type of service sets places apart. They even set up communication through WhatsApp. I would have to say the interaction with the staff might be one of the top 3 experiences I've had with a staff in my entire history of hotel stays. One of the negatives associated with that was the communication method. WhatsApp was extremely convenient but that shouldn't be the reason that the in-room telephone doesn't work. Not only does it not work, it has a digital display face that remains lit so to sleep at night I literally had to turn the phone upside down. When it comes to reaching out, making a local call, or anything that typically requires a phone, not having one work in the room is extremely inconvenient. Another 10 out of 10 category is the location. It is the perfect location for traveling to Istanbul. A 3 minute walk from a popular bus stop that goes to several recommended places was such a convenience. Also, there might be around 20 restaurants within a quarter mile radius to the hotel. There's also a supermarket steps away, as well as a beauty supply store, etc. Pretty much everything you need. However............... I would also give the location a 3 out of 10 on the weekends in the event you need to sleep and your room is facing the popular street. You will hear loud music on some nights close to 3am. The windows do drown some of the noise but it is still loud enough to keep you awake. It was unbelievable, especially when I had to be up early for excursions. Another 10 out of 10 was the daily buffet style breakfast. For W hotels that wasn't something that is commonly found from my experience but it was so good. The spread included options for all types of diets and I doubt there is anyone who won't find something to satisfy that. Now, I have to go to something that was a 1 out of 10 and that was the accessible outlets and charging stations in the rooms. The room I occupied, which was a suite, had a single outlet next to the bed with no USB ports typically found in most 4 and 5 star hotels. There were actually no USB ports in the entire room and the only other accessible outlets were in the bathroom vanity. That made it very inconvenient when numerous devices had to be charged. Another low scoring category was the lighting in the room. I'd say 6 out of 10. Just not bright enough. Overall, I really did enjoy the hotel and the positives I mentioned. I would just expect the negative things I touched on to not be an issue at a W hotel.

Cabanas are poorly located and too near to the rooms so the noise from people hanging out til 4am outside your room will keep you up as well. 0 stars for cleanliness as the room was a bit dusty We have stayed in many W's throughout our travels and this one in Istanbul is by far the least kept up. The rooms are also very dark even when you open the curtains and turn on all lights. W Istanbul earns 1 1/2 stars rounded up to 2 as 1/2 stars are not allowed. And that's being generous.

Management could care less about my predicament and consistently refused to make a phone call on my behalf. I spent an entire day on the phone with Priceline, who was willing to correct the situation, but unable to reach the appropriate staff As a result, I did not have the planned extra bedroom, Kitchenette or dining table (that I reserved and paid for!) and we had to make last minute arrangements. I have worked in hospitality for over ten years and can confirm that Hilton Bomonti is NOT hospitable.
