If you're looking for a childcare facility that's only in it for the money, this might be the…read moreplace. For parents who don't prioritize their children's wellbeing, it probably feels "fitting." Unfortunately, this facility has built -- and continues to uphold -- a troubling reputation. Behind closed bathroom doors, where there are no cameras, reports of abusive behavior toward children have surfaced. Their structure and system seem to allow, even encourage, these situations. Even more alarming, there have been documented instances of children literally being lost -- one reportedly wandered outside the building and toward traffic. Don't just take my word for it. Search local parenting and community groups on social media, where countless mothers and families have shared their experiences and concerns. Parents who put their children above all else know the truth about what goes on here.

I had to tell a director how to calm and redirect a child with ADHD when Google could give the answer. They seemed to have issues with keeping staff, and from my experience, the staff were treated not to labor board standards. The owner literally told me she has a volitile personality. She asked me if I knew about one of the directors' medical condition and told me about it before I could answer, violating the HIPPA act. I recorded the conversation after seeing so much from old employees and parents about this place. I called CPS after walking into my grandchild being placed on display in front of the rest of the class for punishment. I called CPS, and the owner said she was kicking my children out because I called CPS. "Her words, recorded." Then, when I asked for all the kids' records, they withheld several incident reports. They tested my granddaughter for Pre-schoool and kindergarten, and I requested those records. They never responded or gave them to me. I'll be contacting the board of education and the state along with filing another complaint with the licensing department.. Because the owner runs an LLC, she thinks she doesn't have to follow and code of ethics. Every time I encountered the owner, she just told me how cute I was. Inappropriate conduct, in my opinion, it was strange. I could write a book about my experience. I know now, it's not about the bling they offer. It's about how they care for children. I will never look to another Youth Academy for proper, intelligent care for children. I found it to be an unknowledgable yell house.

This is now considered a school you go to for status only and not because the parents are insisting on excellence. It's expensive. But for many here this is a status symbol. These parents care more about what kind of car they are picking up their kids in than insisting on being competitive with other schools in advanced courses. These parents want to equate the country club with the schools but don't want to have activites at the school for education. Kids are not challeged here or encoraged to look beyond their privleged lives. I think when they get to college some patents may see the waste of this $6000 a year.

Children are challenged outside of pure academics as well, for instance they must learn early on how to present themselves before a crowd and use a microphone... a skill set needed for all future leaders. I appreciate how the faculty and staff are always open to hear from parents regarding their children and their academic, social, and emotional progress. We have been part of the CA family now for 7 years and plan to continue to be until all 3 finish strong. Thanks CA, keep up the good work!

I was a stay-at-home dad for the first year of my son's life. He started at JKF2 and the first day…read morehe was having a blast! He made friends with the other kids easily. The teachers were super understanding of how the transitional period could be and handled business so gracefully that my son didn't even really notice that he had entered a totally new environment. My wife and I were skeptical of daycare in general. We hear horror stories from everyone we know with kids about how daycares exploit the parents and mistreat your children. Just For Kids 2 on Ashland City Road in Clarksville TN has completely flipped that boring old script completely upside down. Sure, you can take the word of your friends and coworkers when it comes to child care. People enjoy complaining. Especially when in the presence of familiar people. It creates an even playing field for them to relate to each other. Anyway, psychology aside, this place is great. The ladies at the front desk are kind, considerate, and honest. The teachers are talented, patient, and knowledgeable about taking care of children. They help establish a routine in your child's life and help them learn how to interact with strangers and other kids. My son got sick while enrolled there. This isn't the daycare's fault. Kids get sick. I couldn't bring him back for a while. We still ended up having to pay weekly even though he didn't attend, but that seems to be the normal way these kinds of businesses operate. You can't just reserve a spot somewhere, not go, and then not pay. Your child has a reserved spot there and you can bring them any time you like. This is completely normal. Once we are ready for daycare again, JFK2 will be our first stop! Like I said, everyone who works here is super nice. If you have little discrepancies with billing, or any other issues that arise, instead of being a huge asshole try having a conversation without an attitude with them. They'd probably gladly help you. Thank you JFK2 team!

At first, they were okay, but my kids have bn there over a year, and I can't stand this place. My kid 3yr old screams & cries EVERYDSY begging me not to leave her there. She says her teacher is mean to her. Their policy is that drop-off time is b4 10am, but I was told that if we were ever gonna b late to jus call ahead of time and let them know. So today, I called to inform them that we would be running about 20mins late and was told that she would not b allowed to attend if not there by 10am. Now I have to miss work, which really wasn't an option. I feel that if I'm paying for daycare services then I should be able to utilize those services whenever I need to, whether it's after 10am or not.
