I haven't been to this place in 15 years but when I visited this week.... very impressed. Classy environment, comfortable seating, welcoming and friendly security, and the girls....... I've never seen so many 9's and 10's working on a TUESDAY night at any club. Haven't been on a weekend yet but I was told that Fridays take the crown. I don't work there, and I rarely ever use yelp, but I feel like I would be doing New England a disservice if I didn't share my testimony against some people's assumptions, foggy memories, and old rumors. The bartender, Amanda, and gate keeper, Richard, are attentive and respectful, and Lauren gives a heck of a back massage. The star of the show for me was a very skilled dancer named Mindy. Last weekend me and a few of my friends visited The Golden Banana. A young employee serviced me and my companions for some may call, a lap dance. The young dancer was gyrating his backside in proximity to my crotch region. While the employee was doing his thing, he somewhat wiped his behind on my dress pants. That incident resulted in a brown smear on my thigh. I don't know how this could be fixed other than asking the employees to take better care of themselves. Overall great experience. 90% of the staff was fantastic. Would've been a 5 star review other than one girl was extremely hostile for no reason. Attended the club with my wife and sister for a birthday celebration and were there to have fun. We have the utmost respect for any industry workers and she was accusing us of touching her when no contact had been made. As someone who has been to at least one strip club in every state (except Vermont), this is by far the worst strip club in the country. very overpriced for everything and the bartender informed me that I could not use my card to purchase drinks despite having a POS system. very shady. In addition, not only do you have to "tip" some schmuck in order to go to the back room area to get a dance from a girl you then pay, but the girls just continue to dance and rack up the money without telling you the song is over. very poorly run which I guess would explain why there is maybe 40 people here on a Saturday night. $20 cover is definitely acceptable for a normal strip club but not this place. embarrassment. read more

I visited this establishment a few days ago with some girlfriends and our spouses. A few of the ladies on stage didn't seem well and someone was throwing up in the ladies room. The day after our trip, our entire group was deathly ill with a stomach virus. So if this is the kind of place to make dancers work while they're sick, I want no part of that. I was told this was more classy than the Squire. Another thing I noticed from this so called "classy" establishment, there was a customer at the bar at the same time as me and the bar tenders were very rude and ignored her. Even after ordering a drink they made her wait till after they served others. I didnt know what happened there at first but you shouldn't treat paying customers like that. Especially when they're willing to pay your prices. I asked the lady about it. She said she didn't have enough cash for a tip and went to the atm to get more money. But after being treated like that, I wouldn't have tipped either. Hire some bar tenders that don't act like prissy little Karen's. Clean your place up and let the sick dancers stay home. I came here with my friend for his birthday, there wasn't many presentable looking women . It was my friend's birthday so he got the hott one and I was stuck with the unattractive one but I'm not unfamiliar with taking one for the team . I've been to the Golden Banana a few times since the re-opening. I think they do a fantastic job of catering to all clientele. I typically go with my girlfriends and somehow I am able to hang out with my friends in comfy chairs, watch sports on the big screens at the bar, drink some great libations and not notice the totally nude women dancing on the stage. The women are beautiful, including the bartenders. I like the atmosphere, very classy. However, I could have done without the jello shot girl showing me her milkwagons. It was a cute little dance but I'm really just interested in the alcohol, thank you very much. I'm pretty certain that these women aren't really into the dance. I imagine that they are just going through their grocery list in their heads. I think it goes something like this: Dancer: (while rubbing breasts)"I need milk, eggs, detergent.." Hmmm, so its been a while seen I have been here, but the second time back was not that bad. Heres the picture: One of my dad's good friends from Central America came to visit. Now, in most families that means lounging around the porch and reflecting on old times while knocking back a few.. In my family, it calls for getting completely drunk and dragging the only sober guy in the bunch to the strip club so he can drive. Needless to say I was the sober guy. It all started when we went to Bertucci's in Rt. 1. Since we were 5 Latinos going to an Italian restaurant, naturally they sat us all in the back corner of the restaurant. Dad and friend polish off 2 bottles of wine. After 2 hours of lively conversation, Dad throws me the keys to his truck and says "You're driving" Normally, this would result in squeals of glee from my part (because his truck is SWEET), but unless you have driven 4 drunk old-world latinos around in the cramped cab of a pick up truck, you would not understand my horror. After we bought lottery tickets, my dad says these fateful words "Fuck it. We are men. Lets go to a strip club" The only options were the Squire and the GB. They left the decision to me, and knowing that it would have taken a half-hour for these drunks to get past the metal detector ("Whaaaa? Belt buckles are metal? Defug you talkin bout?"), I decided on this place. F. We chilled there for about a hour and a half, before the rest of the group started to get lap dances. I noticed that my dad was talking to one of the strippers and started motioning towards me. Thats where i draw the line. The same man who taught me how to ride a bike, change the oil in a car, save money, drive a car etc, is NOT going to buy me a lap dance. Its too weird. Unless you have been there, you wouldnt understand. As a result, I left and slept in the truck for an hour before they exited the club. The reason I am telling you this whole story is because it may serve to throw off my rating , due the fact that I was scared shitless throughout the entire night. In terms of the actual rating, the quality of the girls skyrocketed from the last time I was here. I almost drooled on a stripper that looked exactly like Rihanna, sans abuse (too soon?). The waitresses were nice and for some reason I just got better vibes from the place than the last time I was here. Despite the name, this is heterosexual entertainment heaven! Golden Banana does sound like the name of a Chippendale's club, but it is far from that. It's all about the tig bitties and ate grasses in here! The strippers are insanely hot, experienced dancers, and definitely know how to make a pole sizzle. Did I mention that the strippers are insanely hot? Drinks are moderately priced for a strip club, so that is a plus. It's a fairly classy establishment, so you won't feel like a total skeezeball for wanting to go here. I do have one complaint, however: the night I went, the music was absolutely horrible. Every friend I've told about my visit to the Golden Banana was surprised that it employed scantily clad women and not men. And they make a good point. I mean, "golden banana" implies a certain part of the male anatomy that women don't usually have. Who knows. As strip clubs go, though, this one was on the classier end. It's a little dark, sure, but the dancers are mostly attractive and the security is discreet. This place is awesome. The skeeviest girl I've ever seen dancing here is only half to about five eighths as skeevy as the skeeves at the other strip clubs in the area. The cover is a little expensive but the guys at the door are good for a joke, and a little advice. My girlfriend was calling me and I said something like "She's going to be calling me all night" and the guy snaps back with "If you pull your battery out, the message is the same as when your phone dies". I was impressed. They also let my cousin in for free when he showed his military I.D. 5 stars for supporting the troops. Well. This place charge you a cover fee when there is absolutely no one in the club. I went in a Tuesday night, the bouncer asked a $10 fee immediately. There were only a few girls worked that night, all white and Asian. No one was really interesting by the way. Girls were not too satisfied to see so little customers and it showed on their performance. Constantly got harassed by girls for a $30 lap dance probably only last for 2-3 minutes.
