My fiance and I usually go to the beach for a weekend and make a night at Tens. We ended up going on Valentine's Day as they had a promotion for couples free before 10pm. When we got to the door the doorman said "yeah that's an old promotion sorry. 20$.". Once inside on the TV's it literally said "Couples Free Before 10pm on Valentines Day" on all the TV's in the bar. Guarantee he was pocketing the money. Older heavy set guy with white hair. Noticed there was numerous other couples in there as well. Guy probably made an easy 200$ that night. When we left I mentioned it to the guy and he just said "oh. Yah, sorry". The girls, bartender and everything else was exceptional as always. But they gotta get rid of that guy. Normally, this club would get at least 3 stars. It's very nice: Ample, free parking. Clean inside, with a nice layout. Two bars. Very clean bathrooms that do not smell like cat pee. All nude. Most of the girls were very attractive. And the music wasn't annoying. DJ did a nice job. I was actually surprised it wasn't busier for a Friday. The drinks were a bit pricey for a strip club, but I can deal with that. The problem I have is with the no-touch rule. Yeah, for the private dances, the girls can touch you, but not the other way around. I understand it, but I am not used to it. Almost all of the clubs I go to are pretty hands-on. I only have my stereotypical mindset of all strip clubs are trashy, young girls with daddy issues, and the sweaty, hairy guy in the white wife beater standing in the background counting his dollar bills. But, you know what? This place really isn't all that bad! I actually enjoyed my time. The second and third floors were women only. Came with a friend to support her dancer friends and Lesbian night. The DJ was great and music was blasting. The house wasn't packed. More on the quieter/shy side of a club. But, I had breathing room, so I didn't mind that at all. The bartender was AMAZING! She's great at her drinks and pleases my pallet. (No, not that way.) She made me a Killer Koolaid, and it's my new favorite drink. Cheap as hell, too! 5 drinks for $25! Five stars for the women, one star for the bar This club lives up to its name. The women that were there the night my girlfriend and I went a couple of weeks ago were stunning ("Ali" gave my girlfriend the most AMAZING lap dance that my girlfriend absolutely LOVED...if the club wasn't "no touch" my girlfriend would have had an even better time). Here's the problem with the club ... there's under-pouring drinks and then there's Tens. It's absolutely ridiculous that they charge $17 for a Jameson on the rocks and a gin and tonic and there's less than a shot of alcohol in each drink. I've been to a lot of clubs and I've never seen drinks poured so lightly before. My girlfriend and I actually spent more money on drinks because they were so weak (and we spent $60 in $1s and $70 in lap dances). Speaking of lap dances, they're only $20 before the tip and worth every penny (Ali got a $20 tip because it was the hottest thing I've ever seen). I have been here quite a few times so I'm going to base my review on an average, but my last visit stuck out a little bit more than usual. Ten's is always a great time. There are attractive girls all over and the DJ has the place pumping with great tunes and there is always something to catch your attention. For a Saturday evening the place was a little slow and with 10 girls working the atmosphere was dreary. There were some girls on stage when we arrived and I didn't see them until almost closing when they had to get on stage again. My friends & I weren't asked once by any girls if we would want a private dance. I actually had to walk over to some of the girls who almost looked like they didn't want to be bothered in the first place. My friend bought me a special VIP dance two songs for $60, and I know my eye sight isn't 100% but the girl was 4 feet in front of me and I was hardly able to see her shaking her rump. The room was way to dark, but she made up for it by being silly, grabbing my cheeks and pulling them upward, and taking my shirt off a few times. The only good part of the night were the massage girls who came over and talked with us, asked us if we wanted massages, and stuck around for a little bit before moving on to other patrons. $15 entry fee... Club setup was decent with four girls dancing at once. Drinks OK but on the weak side. The variety of girls was pretty good. Most in good shape and worked the pole well. However they didn't socialize with the customers at all. You had to seek them out yourself it you wanted a lap dance. I think this was more club policy than the girls. We have been here multiple times before and it has always been fun. For some reason, the last few times we have been there the bouncers and staff have been really rude. Especially tonight when there was a group of 10 of us and multiple people in our party were served water without asking for it, and then were told by the bartender that "they needed it". This was after paying our cover and being let in by the bouncers. The service at this place has really deteriorated in the past month and it is not worth going there. Went here last night and had a good time.Although a bit sleepy due to a Monday night yet a great place to spend the evening. The girls are not pushy and the waitress was friendly. Just keep in that you cannot cheap out on tipping the lovely ladies! Cover charges were a reasonable $5 per person and pvt. dances at $25+tips. I've been to a good number of strip joints and this one is by far is the worst. Really expensive weak drinks ok girls and a terrible staff. The guys working there will try to intimidate you and make you feel as if they were doing you a favor by letting you come in. The haggard 40 yr old bartender will decide the amount of tip you give her. I used the bathroom and informed the staff there was vomit in the urinal. They replied by saying "again"?. I went back to the bathroom quite some time later and the vomit was still there and the smell was unbearable. I informed a male employee that the vomit was still there and like the "badass" he was he simply replied i don't clean the toilet lol. 1. The Drinks Drinks are overpriced, they have been since the first time I went there. I'm talking $7.50 for a 12 ounce Bud Light overpriced. Mixed drinks are around $9 and I think some go up to $15 (though honestly I stopped drinking hard liquor a long time ago so I'm not exactly sure. I know the most recent time I was there my buddy's mixed drink was $9 and he had a Jack and Coke). Also, the girl bringing the drinks is (usually) very attractive, so if you're anything like me you'll end up her tipping really well. If you are like me you'll be paying $10 a beer, $2.50 to tip the lovely girl bringing them to you plus the $7.50 for the beer itself. (And that's just for cheap beer like Bud Light. That's what I always drink so I'm not sure if other beers are more expensive or not) 2. The Girls The girls are usually 9's or 10's on the sexy scale. This makes sense, the joint is called Ten's after all, and there needs to be some reason why I'm paying $10 for a Bud Light, My most recent trip there however only had 5 girls in rotation, and only 2 of them were 9's or 10's. However I only go once every 6 months on average and this may have just been an off night (though it was a Saturday night, the time I would've expected their hottest girls to come out.) 3. The Stripping: The stripping has always been excellent in the past, it's one of the reasons I keep going there. You throw out a few $1's and the girls would come up to you and give you quite a show, maybe have you place the bill in her cleavage or even between her butt cheeks. Throw out more than 5 bills and the girl would give you (as in you personally) at least 2-3 minutes of her time, maybe put her boobs in your face, the stuff you would expect at a strip club. The last time I was there however (early March 2015) was much different. I would lay down 5-7 bills at a time (and other people in the same area as me would lay down about the same, give or take), and the girl would dance in the middle of the area for 2 minutes, then swipe all the bills and be on her way to the next area. Not even the people who were laying down 20's were getting special attention, and the entire 4 hours I was there I didn't see a single girl go over the counter to put her boobs in someone's face, no matter how much cash they were slapping down. 6. The Champagne Room I finally decided to pony up the dough to hit the champagne room the last time I was at Tens. It's the first time I've been to the champagne room at any strip club so perhaps my pre-conceived notions of what it would be like have tainted this review, (but I don't believe so). First off, it costs $175 for 30 minutes, (I'm sure there's a discount if you buy a full hour but I didn't ask.) The next important thing that I noticed is that the "champagne room" isn't really a room so much as a couch with curtains on either side and (and this part really annoys me) IT'S NOT PRIVATE. The champagne rooms are up on the balcony, their side by side with curtains that separate them, but the side facing the first floor is left OPEN, so EVERYONE ON THE FIRST FLOOR CAN SEE YOU. I'm not sure if champagne rooms in other strip clubs are set up like this but this annoyed the hell out of me (in case that wasn't clear by my use of capitalization in the previous sentence). I'm no fool, I know that (barring some extraordinary circumstance or extraordinary cash flow) I'm not going to be banging any strippers in the champagne room. But I also understand how the male psyche works (being one myself). A large part of the enjoyment of a strip-club is the fantasy of what could happen. I didn't pay nearly $200 to go to the champagne room expecting that I was going to get a blow job from a sexy stripper, I paid $200 because my little brain thought that there's a SMALL CHANCE THAT I COULD get a blow-job from a sexy stripper. That's what keeps strip clubs in business, the male fantasy of what could happen. Nobody I know goes to a strip club excited to spend 200 dollar of their hard-earned money to see some tits and go home horny. I'm willing to bet that most guys (like me) go to a strip club because there's always that small chance that you might meet that horny, sexy stripper that you take back to your place later that night and bang the hell out of. If I'm spending nearly $200 for half an hour I would expect that Tens would want to keep that fantasy alive, which is impossible when every bouncer and customer on the first floor can see you. Maybe it's just me, but this is the shittiest setup for a champagne room I could possibly imagine. read more
