I began to reassess this cost as I'm on a fixed budget (who isn't these days?!) So I decided to take it 3 days a week for $71.50. Mind you? That was early 2016. One year later, they increased the price 20%. Okay. But today I received their latest bill for ANOTHER 25% increase...Where will it end? -And FOR WHAT? No. I'm DONE here after almost 35 years. Simply DONE. I'll get the local news via another source (not a fan of online) AND? I'll take the WSJ up on their offer of 6 months for $99. You'd think a local community newspaper would have a senior discount but far beyond this? You'd THINK they'd "get" that 45% increase inside of one year for their partial subscription IS "highway robbery" at it's finest. Guess not. Pity.

I was recommended by a friend to Valerie, and it was mind-blowing how easy everything was. I'd always thought of therapy as you see it in the movies, with an older, traditional person asking you, 'And how do you feel about that?' while you're lying down, wishing you were anywhere else but in that room. A session with Valerie felt more like a conversation with a best friend who was simply curious about why I was feeling a certain way. She'd ask interesting questions that would make me go, 'Ooh! I've never thought about that before,' and in the process of coming up with my answer, I'd realize all of these things about myself that had never come up before.
