My wife came across them on Yelp! and we hired them to do the photo and video shoot for my parents' 50th Golden Wedding Anniversary. Mind you, we hired them less than a month before the actual event. David and Jerome took the time to do a phone call with us and walk through the entire itinerary of the day from the ceremony at Mission San Diego through the entire reception at the Gaylord Pacific. I really enjoyed working with all of them. They were so kind, warm, and detail oriented. I can't say enough about Fate Studios and how they made this event a truly memorable event! I also pitched an idea to Jerome about doing an AI video of my parents, describing their love story and how they met 50 years ago in the Philippines. Jerome has years of experience as a filmmaker in the Philippines and has worked for one of their large TV networks there, so he's a pro. I was nervous that we wouldn't have enough time to take this video from start to finish, but Jerome assured me that he could deliver. We presented the surprise AI video to my parents after we showed their slide show and the crowd was truly mesmerized! Many of our guests told me that the AI video was an awesome concept. But let me say that David, Jerome, and their team were awesome! I feel as though I gained some friends for life. The second I met them in person it felt like I had known them for a long time. They also knew how to get my parents to take pictures. You know, once you get older the excitement for these kinds of things is not the same as when you first got married :). We've used several other photographers in the past, and while they have all done great work, there was always an underlying reason why we never used them again. With Danielle, I can confidently say, I think we found our family photographer. We have a few friends who have used Danielle before and their pictures were always amazing. So we knew when we had a need to update our family photo, there was no doubt who we were using. I had been following Danielle on Facebook for a while and when I saw a post for Fall mini-sessions, I jumped on it. The price point for a mini-session was reasonable compared to what we have paid in the past. The session was only 15 minutes, which I was VERY skeptical about. How in the world is that enough time to capture the moments? We arrived to our session over an hour early to find good parking. In that time, I watched from afar, several families arrive for their session. And it was like clockwork, watching these mini-sessions go by. It was finally our turn. We walked away from our session and my 2 daughters both said "Wow, that was so easy." It really was. Danielle was quick, she knew what shots she wanted. She didn't waste time thinking about where she wanted us or how to pose us. She didn't have to think about lighting or keep making adjustments to her camera. I mean, she knows what she is doing and it's amazing how much we did in that 15 minutes. Got my pictures today...A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! I scrolled through the gallery and all I could think was "How can we only pick 8". Our location was the same location where my wife and I took our wedding pictures almost 20 years ago. The photos are perfect. Really, above and beyond my expectations. Thank you Danielle!!! I did not mention anything about the pricing in this review, as it my change at some point. But I will say this, my goal from this mini-session, was to find a photographer that was talented, did amazing work and was reasonably priced to where I could see our family being a repeat customer....OFTEN. I just had a maternity shoot with Celi & oh my goodness I am in love with the photos!…read more With an almost two year old we had a rough morning.... I didn't think any of the family photos would be usable :P my daughter is not one to pose and stay still. Celi was so kind and brought blocks for her to play with. She loved them & they helped to distract during the shoot. Celi's patience and flexibility with us put me at ease as we took some solo photos, some with just my husband and I, and family shots whenever our daughter would sit still.
