Vlad, our project manager, and Guy, the company owner, gave us detailed SOWs (Statement of Works) from the onset that they stayed true to. They were consistently forthcoming about which costs would be out of pocket and what's covered in the SOW. They kept us within our budget and worked with us whenever any issue arose. [[HIGHLIGHT]]For example, our HoA was particularly troublesome at points in this process, but Vlad and Guy handled the situation with such care and, again I cannot emphasize this enough, transparency.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Something that was invaluable to us and saved us incredible headache. I wish I had a cool and fun remodeling story, instead this was a call for help after finding a leaking pipe in my wall. After remediation I needed someone to come patch a decent sized opening of exterior stucco and the Goldenline team was generous to help with this project. Jesus, who came to paint, was prompt during the quoted timeframe and pleasant during his time in our home. Our job was smaller and pretty straightforward for a 9x9 wall, but Jesus still took his time. I do wish he would have worn shoe covers as we had a trail of black paint on our carpet going down the steps; luckily, were able to get it out with water and soap, so not a big deal to us. He verified twice that we were OK with his work before he left. He wanted to make sure that we were satisfied, which meant a lot about his dedication in completion of the job. We did a bunch of work with Goldenline over the month of May. Roof repair, new plywood, new tiles, new gutters, and also retrofitting the foundation. Overall, Guy and Tim were super professional and friendly. They were on time, thorough, and were able to match / beat other quotes we were given. Tim was great at communicating updates throughout the process, and was available to answer the phone for any questions along the way. Guy and his crew just completed the first of multiple projects and we couldn't be happier. Guy under-promised and over-delivered on the exterior painting job his team completed. We were told the job could take up to three weeks and would involve multiple steps to do it right. I have been looking for a contractor to replace my elderly mother's roof of their home for about 1 week. Guy came out the same day within 5 hours, and gave my mother an estimate on the same day. But the most important part is that my mother was really comfortable with Guy and like that fact that he listed everything on the contract on paper and he answered all my mother's questions. I am still waiting on estimates on her roof from 2 other companies who came last week and yesterday. And she couldn't understand exactly what they were talking about because she was hard of hearing. The first was drywalling and painting the interior of a garage we were turning into a finished space, and the second was repairing exterior stucco and repainting the house exterior. It's been a few weeks since they completed the job, but I've made an account on yelp just to mention how wonderful my experience with Goldenline Remodeling was! I was having major difficulty even getting someone to call me back because my project was just painting a 1 bedroom apartment, and when those companies did they either flaked on me multiple times, or quoted extreme prices. I was just about to give up and stay with the 2010-era Landlord Beige color when I finally got a response back from Goldenline. Next day they came out to my place to give me a quote (price was very fair) and after the weekend the team was in my place painting. The day they started was the day they finished, a whole space in ONE DAY. I was thrilled! This is the kind of work and speed you hope for in the city! After two teams had abandoned by project, I finally had to find a more professional team. I had a very small job to complete. The team came to my house, did an assessment and eventually started the work. At one point, we ran into a small issue and it was explained that they had to charge me more due to the number of days required to complete the job. The owner himself came out to explain. It was a reasonable error to have made and I agreed to the extra. At the end, the job was completed perfectly and the team cleaned up and swept each day. I got all my calls and txt returned promptly and it was easy to work with them. I will likely use them for my bigger projects as well. You MAY be able to find a less expensive contractor but who knows what quality you will get. These guys are priced reasonably and the quality was exactly what I wanted. read more
