Surprisingly good liangpi cold noodles. Not as good as back in Xi'an, but comparable to the rest of China. The roujiamo is also quite good and true to Xi'an style. Worth checking out! read more

Visited town quite a few times and drive through this place a lot of times. Tonight I made up my mine and decide to other take out. The lady who picked up the phone was very nice and polite. By the time I picked the the food, the girls at the counter were also very nice. Once I return to the hotel and opened up the food. It was quite disappointing. The Spicy lamb noodle were soaked in grease. The bottom of the container was ALL oil. I had a few bites then couldn't stand the grease. The egg drop soup with seaweed was decent. $9 for 2 big containers. I ended up finishing the soup and threw the noodle away. What a waste but no choice. The greasiness was way over my limit. read more

I am the least adventurous eater outside from my seven year old who only eats beige foods. So coming to this traditional Chinese restaurant was stepping outside of my comfort zone to say the least. Prior to tonight I had never tried 100% of the dishes I was served but I am proud to say that I loved everything. Hot or cold, wide or thin, the noodles are spectacular. The spice level is on point, and who knew that gluten could be such a tasty thing... I thought it was just the crap that held bread together. Please try this restaurant. It's amazing and the staff are lovely. Completely impressed. They are unlicensed but the food is so good didn't even miss the beer. read more

Went here for lunch today. Place is clean, service is fast. This is real authentic Chinese cuisine, no cheap, greasy, westernized fare here! Noodles are hand made and excellent. You can watch them stretch the noodles by hand If seated near the front. Had the Noodle of Stir-fried Chicken with Spicy Sauce (ask for the wide noodles). These noodles were fresh, homemade and extremely delicious, unlike any I have had anywhere else. However, If you like your food spicy ask for the "super spicy" as the "little bit" spicy was not at all. Next time I will try the noodle of stir-fried chicken with cumin, a table near me ordered it and I don't think I've ever smelled anything so good. Unfortunately I was already halfway through my food and had to fight back the urge to call my waitress over and demand for her to bring me some of whatever that heavenly smelling dish was! Highly recommend Golden Loong. I will be almost certainly be craving those noodles before long and will be back there soon for a fix! read more

The hand pulled noodles with pork, chili oil and bok choy is absolutely phenomenal from here. This is what you need to come for!! The deep fried green beans were also very good. The other menu items were okay but not amazing. read more

I go to golden Loong once a month. The Kung Pao chicken with peanuts is delicious. The oil splashing noodle is also a fave.

Whenever I have eaten here I have had terrible experiences. The first time, the noodles must have been seasoned with Carolina Reaper seeds because I woke up at 5 am the next morning with gut-twisting intestinal distress. It felt like a Chinese guy was sitting in my gut making noodles, twisting and dancing as he whipped the loops into ever smaller threads. The beads of sweat on his brow were those on my forehead as I kept imaging the peace and cool dampness of a graveyard to remedy the burning pain in my stomach. I remember lying on the floor of my bathroom wondering what sin I had committed to suffer that pummeling. Of course, I have a forgiving belly and poor memory when I'm hangry, so I went there again a few months later and avoided (what I thought) were all the spicy foods, but I ended up buying some spicy pork concoction with black fungus and MORE CHILI. That dish had a quick chairlift to the pastures of heaven. I also bought a dish with fish and what I thought would be vegetables, but it ended up being flakes of canned fish (fried dace from the Yellow River--you can buy cans of this stuff at the grocery store beside for 4.99) and tons of pieces of romaine. Who eats stir-fried romaine with fish? Yeah. Adventurous rabbit-folk. It was not cheap either, and they would not sell me a plain container of steamed rice. I had to BUY a dish that came with rice. Sigh. The only redeeming quality is that they give you fortune cookies, unlike the cheap manager at Sun Fortune who charges me 25 CENTS for a fortune cookie even if I get take-out from there. The Goddess of Fortune doesn't smile down on folks who are stingy with fortune cookies like that, mark my word. read more

We had read other reviews and decided to try out this place. It's true the noodles are home made and delicious. Order the wide ones. The dish we ordered was spicy noodles and chicken. We asked for it to be not too spicy. Oh my goodness! My lips were burning but it was delicious. We also had the green beans. Also delicious. Be careful not to order too much as the portions are quite substantial. Service was friendly. Prices good. My only complaint...the tea was not as hot as I would have liked. read more

I ate dinner here last night and was somewhat disappointed. Ordered the noodle soup with braised beef. I ordered it with wide noodles, and though tasty, the noodles were as wide as lasagna noodles, making them difficult to eat without a fork and knife. The broth was tasty, though a bit too salty for me. What was most disappointing was the beef. Some pieces were so tough I literally could not chew them. Had I not been with a large group of people and not wanted to wait for another order, I would have sent it back. One positive note was that when I asked if this soup had any vegetables in it, and was told it came with bok choy, which I don't like, they were willing to substitute it with lettuce. Based on feedback from others in my group who mostly ordered noodle dishes, they were mostly unhappy that the only vegetables in their dishes were onions. I would likely not go back here. read more

Excellent service and food. Food quantities are huge. One dish is often a lot for 2 people to eat. Thick hand made cumin noodles, iron chicken wok or beef chili oil are all great dishes for people just trying it out. Would recommend for a quiet evening or a group food fest!.
