I had the pleasure of working with Angie and I cannot recommend her enough! I first met her in January, and from our very first conversation, I was impressed by her professionalism and warmth. She took the time to call me and provide all the details I needed, quickly answering any questions I had and taking down notes on gender, personality, color and everything we were looking for in a puppy. Since then, I've been on her waitlist, and she has kept me updated every step of the way. Angie sent multiple updates about different litters, making sure that the timing was perfect for us. Her commitment to her puppies is evident in the way she shared updates throughout their growing stages, from birth to the exciting pick-up day. On the day we brought our boy home, Angie was incredibly kind and patient. She took her time with me during the pick-out process, helping me narrow down my choices among the many adorable puppies. I can be quite indecisive, but Angie made it a fun experience. Now, we have Goose, who is 10 weeks old this week. He's already impressing us by knowing so many commands! He's such a good listener and is incredibly smart. Goose was even sleeping through the night on his first day home and has hardly had any accidents indoors! You can tell that he was raised with love and care in Angie's home, which has made our transition to puppy parenthood so smooth. Since this is my first time being a dog parent, I was overwhelmed the first week and Angie did not hesitate to ease my mind and gave me suggestions to help Goose's transition to his new home easier for both of us. If you're looking for a golden retriever puppy, I highly recommend reaching out to Angie. She truly goes above and beyond for her puppies and their families! Angie is not someone who you will never hear from after taking your puppy home. She is there before, during, and after and this is one of the greatest qualities a breeder can have. I cannot thank Angie enough for providing me with my new best friend. We will most definitely be coming back to Angie once we decide to add another golden to our family!

You can expect an absolutely amazing experience with Golden Retriever Buddies! We began our journey over 1.5 years ago, due to Covid our process took much longer than expected however it was very much worth the wait. You see without a doubt that Angie takes breeding extremely seriously and puts an extraordinary amount of love, care, and attention into the process. Angie made sure to keep us updated with all necessary details along with photos and detailed notes once our pick up time window was getting closer. Once we picked up our new little family member we were thrilled with him. Angie answered all of our questions and is always so happy to see photos of her pups in their forever homes. Our new pup is an absolutely handsome little guy and we have no regrets choosing Angie as our breeder. If you are looking for an amazing family pup and a breeder who provides an extremely caring and methodical process then look no further than Angie. Highly recommend!

Angie was super helpful and responsive before during and after we picked home our pup. Our dog Blu we absolutely love. He is so handsome and curious and sweet and has added much to our lives. He is 5 months old now and is starting to mature out of baby puppyhood (which was a lot of work but worth it). Thank you golden retriever buddies for our handsome and sweet boy.

Angie was the absolute best breeder to work with. The care she has for all of her pups and parents really shows in how happy and healthy our puppy is. She is willing to answer any questions and teach you how to best take care of your puppy. She was even extremely willing to work with me as I proposed on our puppy pickup date. She made it such a nice moment and I can't thank her enough. Our little girl has been so healthy and happy-- so many people are asking us where we got her and I gladly tell them about Angie at Golden Retriever Buddies. 10/10 times I would recommend them to anyone-- totally worth the price.

I am so blessed to have found Golden Retriever Buddies. Angie has been nothing but amazing! From the moment our puppy was born, Angie kept us updated with pictures and answered every one of our questions. I highly recommend her. We couldn't be happier with our beautiful Golden who we named Phoenix!

We bought our Golden Retriever (Colombo) from Golden Retriever Buddies in early November. Angie was great to work with: quick to respond to texts, answered all of our questions, prepared us for taking our puppy home, and gave us lots of recommendations. She was also very flexible about setting up a time to come choose our puppy and to pick him up. The fact that she starts crate training with them is great because Colombo adapted to his crate at our home very quickly and was sleeping through the night within a week or so. We did a lot of research on breeders and paid close attention to who had ethical breeding practices, and Angie certainly does. She clearly shows the puppies a lot of love. We've sent her a few "pupdates" on Colombo, and she always seems happy to receive them. I definitely recommend reaching out to her if you're looking to purchase one.

We just received our precious puppy Goose from Angela and her family. First off, our puppy is so well cared for, he has a wonderful, calm demeanor and he gets along great with our little kids. He is so playful and loving and already such a great sleeper! He has been with a few family dogs and loves loves socializing and playing with others! Angela was so wonderful to work with. She prepped us extensively regarding food supplies, what to expect the first few days, and how to manage the vet appointments. She is so loving and dedicated to these dogs, we will definitely go back in the future for a sibling! Her three sons delivered the dog to us 8 hours away; they were so responsible and took great care of Goose. We are beyond thrilled to have him in our family and my three young boys love him so much!! I highly recommend Angela and her cute doggies

Thank you for the new addition to our family, our puppy is such a gift from God! Angie was great to work with, and you can tell how much love and effort she pours into her pups when you meet them for the first time.

I got my golden retriever pup from Angie on February 24th and since then I have been in love! Angie was amazing to work with. She is so loving of all the pups and took very good care of them and it shows! I'm very thankful for you Angie for taking good care of all the puppies and for being a great breeder to work with! She is great with answering all questions and shares her advice with puppy proofing the home and just simply getting ready for the big day of bringing the puppy home! I also appreciated the constant updates of when the puppies were born to the day that I got my girl! I definitely would recommend to anyone that is looking to get a golden retriever puppy to go through Angie! She's amazing and the wait is worth it! While waiting I suggest reading into dog training, puppy proofing the home, and learning all about dogs if you're new to owning a dog :) and if you have any questions Angie is always willing to help! Thank you again Angie!!

    Our little beauty, Lemon!

We initially chose Golden Retriever Buddies because we really liked that Angie was an experienced breeder and was family oriented. She was quick to respond right from the beginning and continued to be informative, thoughtful and responsive throughout the entire time. Angie made our experience so enjoyable and we are forever grateful, as we picked up our sweet girl, Lemon, from Golden Retriever Buddies a week ago and she could not be more perfect! She is spunky, smart, sweet and just beautiful!!! We are so grateful to Angie and her family for doing such a wonderful job raising and caring for all of their puppies. We highly recommend choosing Angie and Golden Retriever Buddies!!!

From start to finish, our experience with Angie of Golden Retriever Buddies has been an absolute joy! We recently adopted our first puppy, Milo and he is absolutely darling sweet, healthy, playful, potty-trained (almost - we are learning too!) and very well adjusted to sleeping in his play pen and crate. Throughout this adoption process Angie kept us updated with his progress via text, phone calls and lots of pictures of him and his siblings! She was very easy to communicate with about what kind of dog we wanted for our family and she answered all of our questions with thoughtful, experienced answers. We love our pup Milo so much already, and a lot of that has to do with how much care and consideration Angie and her family have raised him with throughout his first 8 weeks. Their love for their dogs is evident and we feel so grateful to have found such excellent and responsible breeders! Thank you Mendez family for helping bring an immense amount joy and love into our lives!!

Tommy and a few of his toys!

My husband and I purchased our new member of our family on December 16th. My husband was wanting a puppy for Christmas. After we drove up to their home, Angie greeted us outside where we walked around the corner of her house and immediately fell in love with a beautiful bundle of fur! Tommy, as we named him, met with us with bright sparkling eyes and a wagging tail. He had a golden smile, that as having 4 other golden retrievers, only an owner knows too familiar. He immediately melted our hearts. After spending about 15 minutes with him, we agreed to purchase him. Angie went over all of his paperwork and was very accommodating. We took Tommy to our vet within 72 hours as per the contract with Angie, and he got a clean bill of health. We are excited to add Tommy to our family. I would highly recommend Golden Retriever Buddies as a place to purchase a new golden retriever.

I purchased our golden from( Brenda now her fb says Rachel so who knows what she goes by now) about…read morethree years ago. I put up with ALOT of excuses with her shortly after I had paid her half (over $2k) for our puppy. I ended up having to contact her after time had passed and I hadn't heard about our puppy that was supposed to be born 6 months prior. I got nothing but excuses from her but gave her benefit of the doubt. She tried to sell us a puppy from a litter that was born 4 months prior due to not selling them. I kindly declined as I had put a deposit down for a red one. Months go by and I'm told that she miraculously had a red litter and they were already 3 weeks at this point. During the time of waiting I started seeing things online about her selling puppies that had parvo and other things. All which she denied. I played nice with her for the time being just so I didn't loose my money that I put down and get my golden I had waited a year for. After we finally picked him up he was terrified of her and immediately came to us cowering and would not come to her. I said nothing and thought maybe he just wanted to go home and was a quiet puppy. About a week later we dropped him off overnight for "daycare" that already paid for her and arranged prior to picking him up. The next morning I picked him up and he just looked defeated and noticed something was off. The people she had "working" for her looked like druggies and every time he was next to our puppy he would be terrified. I left shortly after and noticed on my way home the top of his head had a lump. I texted her and asked his he had gotten hit it hit himself and she immediately denied. I took him to the vet two days later and the lump was massive. I ended up having to pay over 1k to have the lump taken care of. Which included meds , a cone and him having a tube through his head to drain for two weeks. When I explained that the vet said it was trauma to his head she came up with the excuse of him hitting his head on the dog training ladder (yet before knew nothing about it) She denied helping with medical bills even though it transpired in her care. Fast forward to about a year later I found out that the father of our golden came from someone else in Washington who had never done breeding with her before. Mind you which was never told to us. I had to reach out to that person only to find out that ALL of his puppies where from the litter that miraculously showed up that's she told me she had already. His dog had zero testing and zero form of akc etc. when I asked Brenda about it she denied of course and said she had a breeding partnership with him. knowing I wasn't going to get a straight answer from her I dropped it. Now starting this year in January he out of the nowhere had a seizure and lost consciousness where I had to administer cpr to get him breathing again. I reached out to her and let her know, thinking she would care but instead I was told nope none of her puppies have ever had seizures that she knew of and that she moved out of the country and couldn't help... I took him to the vet and ran a bunch of tests to find out everything was normal. Now on Thursday he had another seizure... I then, of course, messaged her again to let her know, and instead of showing any form of compassion, asking how he was doing or us I was then told again that she moved out of the country is grieving the loss of her son(which she lost her son over 4 years ago) and is dealing with a lot and can't help me blah blah blah blah blah blah For her to turn around and block me... I reached out on multiple Facebook groups throughout the area, asking if anyone had issues with their puppies only to find out that everybody has had nothing but issues with her, and it has been going on for years that she has been breeding. A old employee of hers contacted me and informed me that she does still own this business And is looking to soon open up her own Maine coon breeding business. I highly advise everyone to stay clear of this woman and whatever business she does. She's extremely manipulative and there is several lawsuits open against her, which explains why she left the country. I pray that nobody else has to go through what we have and are currently dealing with, and I hope that others get justice for what she has done throughout the years.

We purchased our boy, Beans, in December of 2023 and picked him up New Years Day of 2024. Every…read moreaspect of getting him was a 10/10. When I left Brenda a voicemail first reaching out about a pup, she called back within 30 minutes and we chatted for a while. We ended up face timing and meeting the pups virtually. I knew from there that we were going to buy a puppy from her and we set a date to come by a week later. We went to her house to pick from two litters. Brenda was in the middle of a very hectic move but we only had 2 days we could come pick him out before we were out of town for the holidays for 2.5 weeks. She was so accommodating and let us come over late on a Wednesday night to pick out our puppy. We had 2 litters to chose from as two of her female dogs got pregnant when she wasn't expecting it. We got to play with each available pup one on one and take our time with them. She had each litter in their own themed room with music playing. It was like a puppy hotel and so adorable. We probably overstayed our welcome because we were seriously stuck between two dogs and couldn't decide who we wanted. We left telling her that we needed a day to decide and we'd get back to her but it took about 10 minutes in the car for us to decide and from there everything was smooth sailing. We were out of town in Northern California for the holidays for about 3 weeks. She even kept our puppy a week longer without charging us so we could pick him up on New Years Day. She would send us pictures and videos of him so we could see how adorable he was and he was living the life at Brenda's house until we were able to come pick him up. When we went to pick up Beans, we sat with Brenda for about 2 hours. She has a pretty extensive orientation but its nothing too crazy. She really cares about her pups and wants to set them and YOU up for success bringing them home. She gave us a packet with a ton of information from feeding details, what to expect for the first few days, training commands, etc. She also gives you a puppy shopping list that you need to get prior to bringing your dog home (food type, training treats, heartbeat puppy, etc). She really makes it as easy as possible for you and your new baby to adjust to your new life together. When we picked up Beans, she showed us some of the tricks her dog Sonic can do. Sonic is one of the most well trained dogs I've met. It was pretty incredible. We had already signed Beans up for the Basic Board and Stay camp where Beans would go back to Brenda for 2 weeks and then home for 2 weeks 3 times. However, Beans is so smart he completed most of the course in the first week and we were able to get him early. He is been the best addition to our family. We absolutely love him to pieces. He's such a good, healthy, and cuddly boy. We're amazed at how bright he is and we couldn't have been this happy if it weren't for Brenda and her training.

She was excellent at communication up front and while we were gone, sending pictures that showed how much fun he was having in her care, on walks and at nap-time. Nothing like boarding at a boring industrial kennel! He was loved, he was fed according to the schedule he was used to, and best of all he was comfortable around her dogs. She respected all of our ways (we don't allow our dog on the furniture) and even taught him a trick! We will definitely return and I would highly recommend her for anyone else with a mellow dog like our boy.
