I bookmarked the site and referred back to it now and then, as I was gradually talking my wife into getting a puppy. We looked at rescue, but young female Goldens get rescued fast! I decided adopting a puppy from a good breeder was what we were going to do. Initially, the price seemed kind of high. But consider that they carefully breed, from very noble bloodlines, to produce healthy puppies that have a wonderful disposition. They only breed a couple times a year, and often they have a waiting list of clients who have placed a deposit - many of which are repeat customers. We also considered that, as far as Angie knows, there have been NO health problems with any of their puppies. This was very important to me, even though there are no guarantees. I have lost two purebreds at just 8 years old, and we hope and pray that our Sadie Mae will live much longer than that! Finally, I saw that this family is a Christian family, and we are too.
