Very nice old building, super friendly employees, great hotel in a great city. Front desk girl Merel was especially pleasant to deal with.
My only complaint would be the lack of real air conditioning but for whatever reason Europeans are against air conditioning generally.
One weird thing: when I entered my room the lights wouldn't turn on. There is a slot by the door where you insert your room key and that turns on the electricity. I inserted a business card to keep the fan going when I was away. read more
