The Huntsville Aquatics Center, formerly…read moreknown as the Brahan Spring Park Natatorium, recently finished renovations a year or two ago that include the addition of a new 50-meter Competition Pool and a warm water Instructional Pool in addition to the Legacy Pool, original to the former "Nat." The new Instructional Pool provides warm water therapy at 90 degrees, an in water bench with jets and a handicapped access ramp into the water. The Instructional Pool replaces the therapy pool at the Jim Williams Aquatic Center. Swim lessons, public swim, water aerobics, and other classes are also offered. My family goes to this pool almost weekly during the summer and a lot more during the cooler months. Since the renovation it has improved and it is wonderful location. My daughter loves it and I always meet new people while there. Definitely worth checking out and the swim lessons are wonderful!

After I…read moregraduated, my family maintained a family membership, which I use when I come home for breaks and holidays. This branch offers several amenities including an indoor and outdoor pool, indoor walking track, basketball gym, fitness gym, exercise classes, child watch (8 weeks -12 years) and youth after school and summer programs. Each time I visit, my experience has been consistently positive. The staff at this branch are very friendly and overall the facility is clean and well-maintained without signs of overcrowding.

I signed my son up for their holiday camp. They allowed him to play in grass I stated he was…read moreallergic to in his files. When they called me regarding the situation they stated they just noticed he had environmental allergies (he has multiple environmental allergies stated) but did not tell me he played in the grass, till I later asked them. I had to leave work early to pick him up, and he had a severe allergic reaction, as he practically went into anaphylactic shock. I had to miss work the very next day to take him to the doctor to make sure his organs were still functioning appropriately. I paid $100 for two days with no refund. I emailed the director of the holiday camps about this situation, where she has yet to reply acknowledging the situation.

I went from benching 140 to 275 using it, I loved it, and then it was gone. It seems like a simple reason to leave, but between that and the rowing machines I was done.
