My models didnt feel safe driving in the freeze warning and neither did I. For a natural light studio a 2hr slot in complete overcast with a freeze warning would be useless. I contacted the studio and they refered to their 24hr policy that cannot be cancelled under ANY circumstance. I understand running a business you need your money, but as a client, I don't think I will be returning. Things happen and there needs to be SOME consideration for a last minute reschedule. Should I have looked closer at the weather? Yes, but I think shooting my brothers wedding 2 days prior would probably keep me a little too occupied to think of such variables as a possible freeze in Texas in October. Extremely disappointed in how this was handled and I wont be bringing my services to Artist Uprising from this point forward.

We set up tables and chairs in a U-shape, lowered the screen, projected a slide show, had a presentation and a network meeting. There was a separate kitchen area where people could get coffee or water. Someone brought bagels, but it looked like you could do more in the kitchen space should you want to. There were a variety of tables and chairs grouped together throughout the facility creating unique rooms such as a cafe, bar, lounge, and general workspace. If you needed an office or conference room, you could certainly hold it here. I have no idea what the price is for the space. It seems they are missing out on an opportunity to get this information to people visiting. It seems like they should have a large price board advertising this or at the very least require groups meeting here to mention this. In all fairness, they did have a reception area at the front that ai breezed past because it was so early. No one was staffing the area at 7am. This place had a very casual, playful, and informal feel to it. I could imagine renting it out for other group meetings and events. They seem to have all of the basics covered.

Incredible facility! We rented a large seminar room for our team's all day strategic retreat. We also did a guacamole making competition as a team build activity. She let our facilitator come in the evening before to do set up. Tech was good, the space worked for our needs and all in all we loved it. One cool additional feature they could add sometime in the future would be an ice machine and a filtered water spigot at the sink. These are small things that would only elevate the space even more.

It is essentially a small and intimate small venue and event space. There is a stage and a small plaza area for the spectators. I have been here a few times and seen acoustic acts play here. On this night when I was there, there were no acts, but there were a couple of tables in the plaza area being utilized, one by a group playing cards, another by a couple guys playing what looked to be an intense game of chess. Soundworks is worth the hype…read more Came for a friend's Bday last month and the way it works is they've got a bunch of DJ setups (about a dozen) and you work in pairs to create your own mixes. The instructor, Sean, walks around offering tips and advice to help you add a bit of magic (horns, transitions, speed, etc.) so your mixes feel more polished and club ready. Then, we wrapped with a live DJ demo where you can see Sean mix live, and watch it all come together. Sean also shared that they've got a full-time school for DJ training, plus a creative space for content creation and music publishing. Honestly, I came in skeptical, but left with some serious respect to the whole DJ culture. Sean was super knowledgeable and kept the vibe upbeat. A couple of us were even close to signing up for the academy full-time! It was a dope experience -- Highly recommend!
