Don't be afraid to negotiate a price and/or some other way to get additional value (i.e. 2 for 1, throw in a shirt, etc). They had a good selection of suits, jackets, and shirts. Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. If you need a hem, they'll do it while you wait, which saves time, hassle and extra errands. I was in the market for just a 2-4 times a year decent suit £100-£150, so I didn't check out their selection of high end/designer suits. They're always getting new stock in, so I would suggest checking this business out before you buy elsewhere, you could save yourself a good £70-£100! If you're looking for cheap quality & price- this is definitely the place. Their return/exchange policy is basically non existent, the old man will basically bully you into not giving a refund, unless you sound educated & mention your statutory rights as a customer(that's how I was able to return a pair of shoe). He's rude too. You would think because it's a local business & privately owned, their customer service & care would be so much better- but that's not the case here, you're better off going to a mall or other brand stores. read more

I went here today. I was greeted by an arab man wearing a t-shirt and jeans. As I proceeded to browse the store, he was having a shouting match with another member of staff. This was extremely off putting. The store itself feels more like a glorified market place. The suits are all in racks coving all the walls - most feel second hand. I was so disappointed by this. The suits felt either old fashioned or excessively modern. there was nothing classic. The prices were nothing to write home about. The suit i tried on had a price tag of just under £80, which is very reasonable, however when looking at the cut, nothing that could not be gained for a similar price online with the likes of Burton/H&M/Asos. I was merely abhorred by the staff argument, who, although working ins a suit shop, were casually dressed and seemed to think it was appropriate to shout at each other about 'respectful speaking'. I would suggest to Mr Gold, that his staff should be dressed suitably for working in a tailoring establishment and to train staff to be attentive to the customer experience. I felt like I wasted my time. I though this place had a fantastic reputation, because of jingles and adverts I heard on certain London radio stations, I could not be more disappointed and surprised. I would like to lastly underscore that the atmosphere of the shop is not of an outlet of a tailors, rather a 'rejects' shanty stall. I would like to suggest that management order the suits bette, not just according to size, but also according to colour and visit some of the more refined tailors in Jermyn street or Sloane Sq and organise their store, as much as possible in that fashion. I would also like to suggest a development of the Classic Suit, not merely old-fashioned or uber-modern. If you want a cheaper suit find some FrenchEye establishments across London. read more
