I purchased a set of clubs, and on my first time out I experienced an unfortunate issue. The head of the 4 iron took off with the ball the 8th time I swung the new club. It was a very odd thing to happen to a brand new club, and my confidence with the set flew away with the club head. I contacted Golf Exchange and spoke with Jarrett. He was very helpful and got me a replacement set with no issues. I would recommend Golf Exchange for their excellent customer service and ability to understand the customers' point of view. Usually come here to get all my new clubs, but might reconsider for future occasions.... Ordered an Ai Smoke wood back in beginning of September, and just received it late January. When I ordered I was originally told 3-4 weeks. No problem, rights? Seems like the normal. Month goes by - no news. I call the following week to see if there is an update, and was just told that someone would reach out the next day after they get an update from callaway. Never got that call. Same song and dance for the next couple months, until we get to January.... Received a call to ask how my club was, because they were closing invoices from the previous year. Told them that I never received it, no reassurance that it would arrive soon, or even an explanation as to why it was taking so long. Overall BAD communication and poor customer service read more

Horrible experience here. I left a 1 star review on behalf of Golf Exchange for all the screw ups that occurred while I was a customer there. Eric (The General Manager) called me at 8:45 pm on Saturday and left a long anger fueled voice mail. It stated that if I didn't remove the review he would personally go online and ruin my name and told me "how easy it was" I have never been treated this way as a customer by any company. Eric is obviously in need of formal management training and also personnel training which he is lacking tremendously. After dealing with Eric I now know the issues with Golf Exchange is from top down. As there is no accountability. I won't ever return. read more

Ben, did an excellent job. I never felt rushed or pressured to buy any of the models we tested. Together we walked through the data so I understood the process he used to narrow it down to two choices. We then repeated a couple of swings to finalize the choice. This is the first time I've left a review on anything. My girlfriend and I walked in on a Friday night looking to get a new set of clubs or something for her to get more into golf with me... Ben was the absolute biggest help for her and even gave her a few well worded tips that really helped my girlfriend understand how a swing should look and feel when she was testing out various types of clubs. I can't give Ben enough praise with how much knowledge he has with the game and his analogies for teaching the game. Golf Exchange in Florence is awesome. I used to be a very frequent shopper there (we all have our weaknesses) and felt very comfortable with the staff. I won an iron set so I paid $50 to get fitted and have them tell me what I needed. Blake (who's no longer there I believe) got me fitted perfect. Love the feel of my clubs. I later went in to get retro fitted for a new driver and worked with Greg Cooper. He's very smart when it comes to golf and easy to work with. I've taken a couple clubs to them to get regripped, and they usually can do that no problem (it's a little pricy, so if you've got some patience you can easily do it yourself at home for less). I also went to them because I was reshafting a club and needed a single ferrel and they gave one to me for free. Not a super huge deal because they aren't expensive, but it was a nice gesture. Rude unprofessional people! Destroyed shafts and made clubs inch shorter then I wanted. Blamed on me because they took wrong note. Besides that they will scam people and try to sell expensive clubs to people who can't get golf ball of the tee. Watched with my own eyes. The best place in Cincinnati area to get clubs or golf "anything". They will help you step up your game. I've purchased clubs, shoes, balls, and shirts from them. It's great to talk to experts who play the game and understand customers who shoot 70 or 100. I also love that they have a great selection of new and used iron sets. With their hitting area and measuring devices, they show you the difference between two clubs in very clear terms. They're also friendly - always willing to help out. read more

Not friendly to women. Went in twice for alignment sticks and was treated as a nuisance. Was told to call before I came back in to ensure they got them in. I then called and was rudely told they would call me when they were in... never even took my name or number! read more

Stopped in recently on a trip thru the area. One of the best golf shops I have ever been to. Great customer service. Full service shop - repairs, regripping and other custom club work available. Indoor hitting room with computer aided swing analysis. They also take trade-ins and offer fair value. Ended up buying a set of clubs before I left the area. A definite stop for any player in or traveling thru the Florence, KY area. read more
