There is always some good seasonal sale's @ Sail as they have a large assortment of outdoor clothing, fleece, jackets and other goods! Their selection of winter clothing is pretty decent. Brand names are in the mid range on average. They do have some Arcteryx, Canada Goose, North Face and Columbia items to name a few on the higher end. A decent selection of outdoor footwear as well. If getting lost in the woods, or skiing hiking or fishing is your game then you need to get to Sail!

There's two levels, and the main street level has the lion's share of clothing and shoes. Vans, Converse, DM's, trendy flip-flops... My kid is a sneaker fanatic and we couldn't tear her away from this store. We loved how all the differently designed sneaks were suspended from the ceiling. Like, hundreds! Yes, shoes and sneakers are a definite draw here, but there seems to be so much more hidden around every corner. And the store is deep, and there's a downstairs which has a gazillion different backpacks here. I'm not exaggerating. A gazillion. What a fun store! Very unique and funky. I was looking for gloves that I could use for outdoor photo sessions in the winter (the ones with the special rubber pads on the finger tips to help grip things) and the sales guy knew exactly what I wanted, helped me get the right size and took as much time with me as with the customer before me who was buying a kayak. I also needed warm boots and the clerk in that department asked lots of questions to understand my needs, then made several recommendations. He found my size, helped me choose the right socks - and even told me about special discounts that were not advertised. When I approached the cash the pay for everything, the HUGE pre-Christmas lineup almost made me put everything back... But I was VERY impressed at how quickly I moved through the line. It's nice to shop at a store that actually staffs the check-out counter with plenty of people so customers don't have to wait to pay. Really wanted. We did find it elsewhere but when we tried to return the original pair the same day, we where told NO Refunds. This is not how you stay in business. I was very dissatisfied with this and will never return. Prices where good and I was thinking g if making a league purchase with them but this bad experience means I will NEVER GO BACK. The owner is a lovely man and while he is usually the only person found manning the store, he makes time for each and every customer that crosses the threshold. This is one of the few stores on St Hubert that I visit even if I am not on ball gown/fancy attire search.
