It has a few ranges so there is a lot of place. They also give out larger golf sticks ( drivers): usually they give out smaller one ( #6-9 ). Yeah nothing bad to say: They close at 8 pm every weekday and week ends at 7pm. The golf range is next to the 117 / they don't have a roof above you so it can really get hot on sunny days.

For someone who doesn't drive I am pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed this activity…read more The staff is very nice want to come in you give your name and because it's Covid they do check that you do have your vaccination passport. once you pay they give you a head cover that is worn under the helmets you can either keep your mask or you can take it off because the head cover they give you acts as a mask and as a barrier against the helmet. (You will look like a ninja with the black head cover - they give it for you to keep or toss after you're done). Once a group is ready they bring you into the side room for someone to give you instructions on the signals the the different flags and the meetings of each flag as well as instructing you how the pedals work. Again being that I was the only one who didn't have a license and I'm afraid to drive I was feeling really nervous and scared. They call your name and give you the number of which car you'll drive. As I started going the first her and I was a little wobbly but after the first laugh I let go and honestly it was a lot of fun it was exhilarating adrenaline going and just a good way to free any pent-up energy. I love this so much I'll end up going a second time and because it was so easy to maneuver with the right pedal which would generally be your gas pedal you only use that to go and you slowly lift your foot off the pedal to be able to slow down or to even break. You don't use the other pedal which is the brake pedal at all because the right pedal slows you down as you lift up your foot. I took one star off because of the pricing it's $25 for eight minutes which would give you 12 to 13 laps. But just thinking about $25 before tax for that little time is pretty expensive but I do understand the cost of the place the machines the cleaning the everything but overall it's just a little expensive. This was a activity that I really enjoyed with my significant other and I would have like to make it a monthly activity but because of the pricing it's not some thing that is sustainable to do every month. I definitely courage you to go in groups for birthdays friday activity it's definitely a lot of fun. For some people am I give them a sense of nausea or heartache because of how fast you turn on the curves and sometimes you get bumped into the walls but it is definitely worth at least one try. If driving in real life was exactly like driving at the go carts I would already have my license!

My wife and I got married here in 2015 and although the night was great, issues had occurred throughout the night. So coming back for an Easter brunch was a " making amends " scenario, and it failed. Food was ok, lasagna, fish, hash browns, scrambled eggs and desert. We asked for a specific white wine. The wrong one was brought by mistake. This happened a second time! It cost us 120$ for two people. This included only two plates and did not include the bottle of wine which was on another bill. Sound as an Irish Pound Lads & Lasses!…read more First off, I would drive 2-3 hours for a good round of golf, and driving to Glengarry is no different. It's almost a straight shot on the 417 East, on the other side of Ottawa, almost at the Quebec border, even the US border as well, but the drive and fall scenery are magnificent. The course is a bit difficult to navigate to without a map or some type of navigational device, but that doesn't detract from the overall impression I have. I am surprised there aren't more reviews for this course than what is out there, and on the sites I frequent, there are none. The drive up is nice, the trees lining the drive up, but it's the view from the first (and 10th) tee box that start the majestic views for this course. The challenges vary from hole to hole, some have wide welcoming fairways with challenging pin placements, other holes require precision golf leading up to a wide green. Some of the greens are generally flat with little break, and others will wreak havoc on your inertia if you're not careful. But that is one of the beauties of the game. There are a couple of holes that will tempt you to "go for it" and shave a couple of strokes off your round, but beware. If you miss, you'll add those strokes you went to subtract. The staff I met there are extremely friendly and cordial, as well as some of the other patrons I encountered, which always makes the experience that much better. My biggest point of a golf course are tee box repair boxes, which Glengarry has. If you see 300+ golfers in a day and no means to repair divots (one of the biggest golf etiquette points), the tee boxes can look like a mud pit to say the least. The repair kits take a second to sprinkle some dirt mix on your divot and you go, for those that don't know about repairing your divots. For the duffer to the scratch golfer, I recommend Glengarry. You will not be disappointed!!!
