I Highly recommend the Avalanche trail. Its approx 5 miles round trip and takes about 2 hours but that was including picture taking that we did. We completed this ending of May and views of the Lake were gorgeous. The path was easy to follow and the elevation wasnt that tough to hike. We saw deer along the way which was cute! Breath taking views of the lake at the end so worth it and relatively easy hike. There ia even a restroom along the hike about a mile in. Both hikes recommended!

The scenery was spectacular, the camaraderie on the raft was a blast, and Oscar made every stretch of the river feel memorable. A little difficult to navigate using All Trails, as the Sun Point trail…read moreincludes Baring but not the other two, while St. Mary and Virginia has a gap in between and doesn't include Baring, Otherwise, the trail is great. Lots of burned tree remnants remind you of the dangers of forest fires. The three waterfalls are all beautiful. We saw a mama moose and her calf on a sand bank behind the water, and others saw a grizzly bear Baring not long after we were there.

We had a three-some and on the first par three, the group ahead of us let us play through which was nice. The course was in pretty good shape. I agree with another reviewer that the greens were full of ball marks. I fixed several myself and if you have any idea of me as a golfer, I wasn't the one making them. The forward tees were 5150 yds which is a little long for me. Tee boxes were in decent shape. Greens and fairways good. The rough killed me. It was so thick I struggled getting my ball out and it was often hard to even find your ball in the long grass. Staff was nice and helpful. No GPS in the cart to bring your scope.

Course is in great condition with one exception. I have never played a course where the golfers…read moreappear to have no etiquette when it comes to repairing divots on the greens. Every green was riddled with divots. Other than that. Course was great.
