We setup a time to check my clubs out to see if they needed any extra help. Joel measured and stated that my clubs seemed fine. He asked me to show him my normal stance so he could see how I start my swing. It was there that he noticed I had too much bend in my knees and gave me some advice to try. To paraphrase Dire Straits, "He'll do everything for you..." He's a good teacher. An expert in repair and on equipment. He remembers customer names. He goes the extra mile. Example? Two of my iron shafts snapped recently beneath their grips. Happened about two months apart. They had rusted. For the second repair, Kevin contacted the manufacturer, got the new shaft, and repaired it without charge. Now....who's going to do that for you at a chain store? Great place. They'll take good care of you and make you feel at home.

Consistently Incredible Club Fittings!…read more I used these guys to upgrade my putter, driver, fairway woods, wedges, and irons in individual fitting sessions. The putter experience dropped my putts per round by 7, the driver session significantly extended my length and tightened my dispersion, the fairway woods brought noticeably better consistency, the wedge fitting yielded "dang! Did I just hit THAT shot" reliability, and the irons have me asking myself why I waited so long to make the change. This is a no-lose experience. The fitting fee is lopped off the purchase price. And you have 90 days to get a replacement if what you purchased does not perform. On the replacement, I took back the Titleist 58-degree wedge I purchased and swapped it for a 60-degree six weeks later. No questions asked! Highly recommended, particularly given the 90-day swap out option which the competition (you know ... the guys that claim to be the champion of such things) will absolutely NOT do.

The monthly membership is a good value if you are serious about putting time in and learning. We attended for maybe 2-3 months before we had to move away to a different state but we learned a lot. We would still be going here if we didn't move out of the state earlier this month. I will say that you should not expect them to teach you everything as they are group classes. The other members are super friendly and help out. If you're new like we are, be patient and learn what you can from the group classes and then when you have some clubs of your own do a lot of practice on their simulators/virtual driving range... then take private lessons.

I signed up for the golf school ( very affordable and beginner friendly group classes, if you are real bad ...you will not be embarrassed trust me) with a goal of routinely breaking 100. In less than two months of classes with Mike and Pat , I now regularly shoot in the low 90s and even have rounds in the 80s. (Best is 86).
