For the money you can't beat this course Very relaxed atmosphere, both in the office and amongst the patrons. If you're a serious golfer, go somewhere else. In fact, I love this place so much. Nice course relaxed atmosphere. No tee times, just go in and golf! I live right down the road so very convenient.

Staff is very unfriendly and everyone just sat around like it was an inconvenience that you were there. The course was a little confusing with not many direction signs to some of the holes. The staff gives you a hard time when you try to go to certain areas to retrieve your ball when there are ropes and water that you have to go around to get to it. Low quality course with low quality management. As a regular at most of the courses in the wake forest area I would recommend paschal over this place if you're looking for a cheap course with relaxed dress code/atmosphere. Seems to be a family owned/run place & the owners who work there every day are hostile for no reason. It rained last time I went there & we waited out the storm under some trees because the radar said it would pass. It started hailing & definitely was not safe to drive the cart back to the parking lot as we waited probably about 15-20 mins for the storm to calm. Since we paid for the twilight round we thought we would take a swing or two after the storm passed & play if conditions weren't bad. Literally took one swing before management drove through the middle of the course to yell at us "drop the clubs right now". I was confused why we were being yelled at as if we were doing something malicious. In the moment I gave him the benefit of the doubt because I thought ok they probably don't want us to mess the course up because it rained & maybe that's why this dude is heated. No big deal. I tried to be understanding but that didn't help at all. The old guy who drove out to yell at us continued to take his frustrations out on us even though I tried to be apologetic despite this all being brand new information to me. I'm not a high end golfer & idk the rules so that's on me. But we had never had a conversation about this before & I gotta say I was pretty disappointed with this guys inability to be polite. When we pulled the cart back we asked if we could get a rain check & the guy asked what hole we were on. We said 15 but we paid for twilight & still had about 3 hours left. He scoffed & said no, no rain checks after 9 holes. It's fine if that's the rule but this guy was being so defensive during the conversation for no reason that it was extremely off-putting. He followed up by telling us they don't need our money & pretty much treated us like dirt. Don't know what I did to deserve that but if they don't need our money I'm happy to spend it elsewhere. It's great that these guys are so successful they can treat their customers like scum. As far as course quality goes this course is really the lowest of the low. Slow greens like others on here have said & usually there are divots if you come anytime that's not middle of the summer. If you do come when greens are decent (for them) pace of play is usually abysmal. Paschal or even falls village is a better value especially with the recent price increase. read more

Horrible course, greens are super slow and pillow like plus they have dirt and weed patches all over them. Bad maintenance on the course and owners are very rude and racist. Saw one of them completely freak out and throw things at a group of younger guys in the parking lot. All that and it's just not worth taking the time to play a poorly maintained course. Had to putt through multiple trenches on their greens. read more

This course is a ton of fun to play. A lot of people are complaining but if you ask me, they play bad golf and want to blame the course. At least I know its me when I chunk my irons. Fairways are wide open and the conditions are not that bad. I think 13 has a poor green but that's about it for my complaints. Lost my putter head cover out the basket on the cart. Told the guy in the club house and he gave me his number to call and ask about it after they closed up. Seemed pretty nice to me read more

This is a review I'm very happy to write, I just started playing golf a year ago on a vacation in Punta Cana. This was one of the first courses I played here exactly a year ago. At that time the course was so bad I swore I would never play here again. The greens were rutted and scalped and the place in general looked like no one cared. The carts were border line dangerous with it being a crap shoot whether or not the brakes were going to work. BUT TODAY WAS A WHOLE NEW STORY! The greens were as good as anywhere else local, some of the carts are being replaced and the fairways were in good shape. They also have the nicest practice green around. Kudos to whoever whipped this place into shape. It's great to have another local affordable public course. read more

Don't know who gave it those glorious reviews. The kind of course you play if you like waiting. A duffers (+120) paradise. People in front of me hitting like 3-4 balls a piece on each shot. Conditions were horrible - tee boxes furry, no discernible fairway, and the greens looked like a leaper with the number of spots. Good luck, but don't say you weren't warned. read more

I enjoy this course for someone with my level of golf. The course is wide open and beginner friendly. Now that my game has grown somewhat, the course has become funnier to play with friends or by yourself. Too me, it's a bit pricey, but then again, have at it and have fun!! This is a great course for young and old , no it's not pinehurst #2 but if you want too go enjoy your game and your golfing buddies its a fun course, wide open fairways, very golf friendly, staff is friendly and very nice, go play its a fun place, and yes it will make you hit every club in your bag ..... read more

This family owned golf course is exactly what you expect. Inexpensive and not difficult, a confidence course. While fairways are forgiving and easy to hit, the greens are small. The greens surprisingly are in excellent shape quicker than most and well kept in general. There is no water to speak of and really only a couple of bunkers on the whole course. The 218 yard uphill par 4 is kind of a joke, as is the 314 yard downhill par 4 hole before it. Holes 12 and 13 are fairly nice tight holes with risk reward. Other issues no beer for sale, no real food, the carts are so old I've had at least two die before 9 is over, and because of the cost you have a lot of hacks out and hear Fore a lot! Also it's quite a slow course because of the cheap cost. Another good thing...free replays. For $37 hard to complain about or be upset about it! read more

Played today and thought I get rained out. No chance it would rain on my fun. Haven't played there in a while and was very surprised at how great the greens are. Someone's done a lot of work there and it's really paid off the greens were wet when I played so there was slower than usual but still had a great time. I like playing there because there's not many sand traps the fairways were in excellent condition would go back with no problem. read more

This is a great little course. This is where I grew up playing golf and I loved. Very cheap and if you ask they will usually let you play 27 holes maybe even 36. Very nice people including the pro. Most days it's not that packed so I recommend not to book a tee time. Very easy course but very fun. Great place to brings kids. I love it read more
