I wanted a photographer who could capture the biggest day in my life properly. During the wedding, he was so discreet that most of the time I didn't notice that he was there. I was really lucky too, as the weather was absolutely beautiful, so we took a lot of outdoor shots. I just received my proofs in a professionally bound proof book and the pictures brought tears to my eyes. The photos were brilliant, expressive, beautiful compositions. Now I just have the task to select which photos to go into the photo album! For brides out there who are choosing a wedding photographer - do approach different photographers, view **complete** albums (some photographers only select one or two good photos to go on their websites out of many weddings), and decide on the styles that you like. Go with a photographer whose albums make you want to cry (in a good way!), NOT one whose price is the cheapest. Your photographer can only take your wedding photos once! We were very disappointed with the photos we received from Samuel Da Silva for the following…read morereasons: 1) It took about 45 days for our wedding photos to be provided to us. 2) We were promised 400 photos but received less than the number agreed to. Instead, he tried to make up numbers by providing us the same photos in black and white, in addition to colour. 3) A large number of the photos taken both indoors and outdoors were overexposed. Most of the the lighting issues could be fixed relatively easily with software, available free online. While we're not experts, it took is very little time to fix these lighting errors ourselves. What is disappointing is that he did not take the time to fix these himself, even though he was late in delivering the photos. It seemed that he had just downloaded the photos from the camera's memory card to CD. Overall we received amateurish photos and we would not recommend him to our friends.

The gallery itself is very tucked away, if you think you're walking down the wrong street (past the Royal Oak pub on the corner of the flower market), you aren't you just haven't walked far enough yet. Every Sunday, Seamus Ryan opens up his studio. Which isn't a hugely novel thing to do at first glance. But then you realise that he takes photos of everyone passing through. Tourists and nosy people can then buy the prints after seeing them on the website later in the week. Brilliant. Yesterday he took photos of the contents of my handbag. Random. The portraits in the gallery are gorgeous. His print of Tom Stoppard (who popped in with his grandkids) is now in the National Portrait Gallery. The gallery is light and airy and interesting. It's also well air conditioned which is very handy to escape the sunshine for a little while and recover from flowery sneezes you'll get wlaking through the market. So go and be nosy and be in a photo project. They change every week so you know you'll be doing something new each time. Much more interesting than Smallville reruns on the telly.

The idea that we would only pay for the photos seemed too good to be true; I didn't know what to expect. But when put in contact with Ben he was so helpful to work with through email, to determine where we'd meet, what kind of photos & background shots we'd like, what time of day worked best, etc. We were visiting London for our 10 year anniversary and I wanted to make it a really special memory. Ben was the best photographer I've ever worked with. Better than our wedding photographer. He posed us when needed, helped us to be natural for other shots (which can be challenging when being photographed while passersby are watching). He'd have us ready in a pose and have us hold until the perfect moment when there was no one behind us AND a red double decker bus was going by...which really made for some beautiful pops of color and showed off that we were in London. I requested an hour bc I wanted to save money and only commit to a purchase of 15 photos. Ben stayed with us for OVER 2 hours, even though he knew I would potentially only purchase the lowest number of pictures. This photo shoot is essentially free so his time with us depended on the # of photos purchased and he still spent so much time with us. When we got the photos I was blown away. I ended up buying them all. I'm already designing a photo book. We feel so lucky to have found this company, and that Ben was our photographer. These beautiful photos will hang in our home forever. I could not recommend EVERphotoshoot higher...you don't even need to be celebrating a special event. This is great just to have beautiful pictures taken to remember your trip in any city EVER offers their services.

We looked online and are so incredibly grateful to have found this company. Not only was Larisa able to accommodate a last minute request her photos were absolutely amazing. We took the photos with the idea of only maybe having 15/30 that we would like a pick up but of the over 170 photos she sent we fell in love with the vast majority of them. We ended up getting the whole package at a more than reasonable price. We hadn't had professional photos taken before so it say a lot about how talented to a photographer Larisa was for them to come out so well. I would recommend this company to absolutely anyone looking to have photos taken. We will definitely be looking up this company again for possible family photos in the future when in Europe. We discovered this photography studio, quite by accident, while on vacation in London. The studio…read moreis located in the lower level of a gift shop directly across the street from Harrods Department Store. We did not plan on taking professional photos but we got caught up in the idea and the various costumes available (Tudor, Old West, Gangster, etc). We chose "Tudor" and were quickly taken into a room so we could change and choose which headpieces we wanted to wear as well as rings and swords. The photographer was very professional and the sitting took about one hour. There was a variety of poses and props that we used and after the sitting we had over 125 photos to choose from. We had big laughs looking at the photos while sitting on a sofa in front of a big screen TV. In the end we decided on four photos and decided on a package plan which included digital copies. The price was fair and the photos were also retouched to give us flawless complexions which is always flattering. I recommend seeking out Old & New Photography Studio for your photographic needs.
