Get to the resort and find out the travel agent made ONLY ONE ROOM RESERVATION! That meant THREE ADULTS and a preteen in ONE ROOM with ONE BATHROOM! Tried to get that changed and the resort claimed it was full... unless you wanted to pay an additional $78 PER NIGHT for another room, even though when making the arrangements THROUGH THIS TRAVEL AGENCY I already paid for my room! The resort was HORRIBLE multiple guests including myself got food poisoning on different nights. And the return flight HA! The airline somehow had NO IDEA that there was a departing flight from Punta Cana that day. How does THAT happen??? I will NEVER EVER use this travel agency again for ANYTHING! We were staying at Tween Waters Resort celebrating our 20-year wedding anniversary and thought we had everything planned perfectly, including a pre-scheduled Uber to the airport. At 3:30 AM, just five minutes before pickup, Uber canceled on us. Panic doesn't even begin to describe it. We called multiple services and got the same response over and over: no availability, no drivers, nothing at that hour. On a last-ditch attempt, I called Elisha -- and he immediately rearranged his schedule and left right away to come get us. He picked us up promptly, got us to the airport on time, and completely saved our trip. Elisha was professional, calm, courteous, and made sure we were comfortable the entire drive. The ride was smooth, stress-free, and exactly what we needed in that moment. Even with this being a last-minute emergency pickup, the fare was more than reasonable.
