The only thing that I can say is satisfactory is my doctor. He seems to care about what he's doing. But he's available two times a year for 30 minutes. Good luck trying to reach him. I have called several times with questions. I think I have had my calls returned 2 times. Referrals are awful. Their policy is 10 days to process. I am still waiting on my last referral and it's been about three weeks. The previous referral took two months. And if you complain you are ignored. That shit slogan they have "Aqui Para Ti" is a crock of shit. And since I have complained they have stopped responding to me. I'll be leaving soon. These people are worse than Health Texas. They have A LOT of old patients. If any of your relatives are treated there be careful. Make sure you are watching out for them. Horrible place starting with the people at the front desk, they think they are the Drs, security guards and screeners, they do their job like they are doing you a big favor ..I don't know if the Drs. Know but, that is certainly going to hurt their practice. Look for another Dr. Do your research and go where you feel appreciated and treated with decency,like a human being. read more

It is a blessing from God that I jointed GMG. My health history is quite lengthy & involved. I've lost track of the physicians and/or specialists I've been to. I joined GMG in Jan 2024 & have not regretted it for one minute. I am working with an excellent physician as my PCP and great specialists for all those health issues that have occurred along life's path. Every single person I've spoken with, whether it's in person or over the telephone, has been incredibly kind, caring, compassionate & professional. Trust me. I've dealt with "physicians" (???) and snake pits masquerading as front office staff. GMG's bar for patient care and Customer Service is set incredibly high. Treatment for a painful left hip. No fall involved. Very attentive staff, listened and did a physical exam appropriate to my concern. X-rays taken, plan of care done received a timely injection to deal with the discomfort. Excellent attention and treatment from walking in to walking out. read more

Absolutely useless. They don't take Medicaid and if you already have a primary care physician you are to report to them first. the "urgent" in the title is in name only because they don't handle any form of surgical procedures that need to be done. Dr. Gushigan is my primary care doctor. She moves very slowly to act. I visited her back on Feb 28 for an assessment for a mobility chair. Swore that she would send in paperwork that week. Here it isatch 24th and many calls from both me and hoveround with no response or action on Gonzabas part. They say paper work was sent on March 24th but hoveround still has not received it. I'm disappointed that quicker attention wasn't given to my situation. I was promised call backs and followup but have received none. Gonzaba touts that they treat you like family....well if treated my family this way I would have a family anymore. read more

My opinion from my experience: The ladies in front and who did the in-take and blood work were very nice. Then when I saw the "Dr." Brown, she was the most inept "dr." I've ever been to. It was like a joke to her, especially to mess with a senior. I was told by the ladies in front that she was Wholistic, which was great to me, since I've been Wholistic since the early 70's. Dr. Brown was anything but Wholistic. She told me within a minute of coming into the "examination rm" to stop taking all supplements, because.."they're not regulated by the Govt and they just put anything in them and they cause Hepatitis" What? I don't over do anything, much less supplements. I asked her, "Wouldn't that have showed up in my blood work last week?" She didn't respond and wouldn't listen to anything I was there for...severe pain, etc. from what I found out from another dr to be a hernia. Then she told me to stop eating all fruits and veggies. What? I asked why. She didn't respond. I then said, "I only eat organic" She interrupted and said, " You don't get it, It doesn't make a difference, they're still touched by people." What? And that's why I rinse / wash all my fruits / veggies. She wouldn't listen to what had been happening to cause the severe pain. She didn't care. I then asked about the cyst on foot, she told me it was a wart? I showed another dr. he said, "What is wrong w/ her?...it's a cyst that's infected." And he fixed it right away and it's been fine since going to another dr. at HEALTH TEXAS. WHICH I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Dr. Brown is anything but Wholistic, or even a "dr."...and she supposedly went to "Harvard"....? I will be reporting her to the TX Medical Board and the Insurance company as well as the Fed. Govt Then she said I needed an MRI and scheduled for me to "see the dr. who will then schedule the MRI, then I'm to go back to the dr. and then make an appt to see "Dr." Brown again. I called the office about having an MRI...they told me they "always start with an ultra sound, then an MRI, then a katscan" ?? Why not "start" with what is needed...a katscan. Instead of having to schedule procedures not needed and charging insurance companies for over 16 visits, when it should be only 3. I will be filing a complaint w/ the whomever I can about over charging for medical visits and wrongful diagnoses. I was lucky enough to find another Dr. who really cared and listened and got me in for a katscan that every same day. I had a hernia. It only took 3 visits. The doctor I went to that was an internalist and really nice and professional was Dr. Ramos, with HEALTH TEXAS. He cared and was very professional, as are the NP. UNLIKE DR. AMBER BROWN AND THE GONZABA MEDICAL GROUP!!! DO NOT TRUST THEM AT ALL. I'VE SINCE HEARD HORROR STORIES ABOUT THEM HURTING OTHER PATIENTS. One guy told me they told his father he had dementia and scheduled him for all these nonsense appts, when he actually had a brain tumor. Another insurance lady started crying when I mentioned the Gonzaba Medical Group....they misdiagnosed her husband and he died of heart failure. I've heard so many horror stories about the GONZABA MEDICAL GROUP....THEY SHOULD BE SUED, A CLASS ACTION AND NOT ALLOWED TO "PRACTICE" ANYMORE. THEIR LICENCE SHOULD BE WITHDRAWN. No one in this office has a clue as to what they are doing. When you tell your doctor you are having a problem with nose bleeds and he never looks in your nostrils is a problem. Not to mention that they seem to feel their time is more valuable than yours. Is too much to expect your new doctor to get records from you doctor of 10 years? Strange place, stay away. read more

I am getting very disappointed with the NW clinic, they have too many PA's that are not in network and they are the only available to see patients. Not once do they notify that PA's are not in network and that you have to see a DR to be able to be covered for a visit with Primary. Now i have bill for $87 with should only be $10. My primary Dr Wanda D. Angueira, MD was my dr but I have yet to be informed she no longer works there. Very poor service I have received. read more

Very unprofessional, I have been trying for two days to make appt. for my wife and they keep telling me the computer systems are down. They keep saying their IT techs are fixing the problem. Came to urgent care at Woodlawn location. First off let me say check in was crazy slow, like molasses. Second they have no actual bathroom for patients to leave a sample it's basically the waiting room bathroom and it has no window to leave urine samples so guess what if you have to leave a urine sample you got to hold on to the Urine cup with urine in the waiting room until you get called back. They cattle call so basically they are yelling your name loudly till you walk up to whom ever is calling you. There are no apologies for the long wait basically no communication of any sort from clinic staff. There is no structure for front desk check in whatsoever. I am sitting here and only one patient at a time is being called back, literally. Got called back and the medical assistant could have been a bit more friendly but the PA was awesome great bedside manner, very knowledgeable and patient. The worst part was the check in process. Not sure if they are understaffed. Definitely could tell exam room chair was not wiped though as I saw some kind of liquid on the arm chair so I had to take a sanitizer wipe and clean it myself. read more

Dr. Arizaca is my PCP and she is very attentive. I have had years with no issues and then a couple of years with some serious issues. She addressed each concern and issue with thoughtfulness and personal attention. read more
