From the first day I met him he was very descriptive in explaining to me the gallbladder issues I'm having, showing me the ultrasound and explaining the process along with why I should get sooner than later. Yep. Booked that day a month out with surgery scheduler Denise . I also had to obtain FMLA Paperwork from his office with Maria that was done in a timely manner and sent to my employer . NOW Today was my surgery at the Methodist Ambulatory Hospital and everything was perfect from checking in with Rosario, Pre-Op Nurse Jessica, OR Nurse Monique, OR Tech Dante, Recovery Nurse Shelly and my Anesthesiologist who I cannot recall her name but over all 10/10 experience from Day 1 to day of surgery. I've been home 7 hours and took pain meds an hour ago for first time but think the Exparel shots in surgery are why I'm not on extreme pain. Would highly recommend Dr Shary , the office Team and the awesome team at Methodist Ambulatory. Everyone was amazing and made my surgery that much more better !!!

His nurse, Patty, was equally awesome. Dr. Biediger did my thyroid lobectomy surgery in November. My incision was sewn up beautifully and is healing nicely. My follow-up care has been equally wonderful. I highly recommend Dr. Biediger, he is an amazing thyroid surgeon.

Who ever made the appointment also failed to describe what a parking nightmare it is at the medical location and that the building doesn't even face the street making it hard to locate, furthermore the building is under construction and when you arrive to suite 405 there is 2 of them! I ended up waiting in the wrong one for over 20 minutes being ignored by the staff finally made it to the correct 405 suite and explained it to the girl and she blew me off. Then another staff member came and asked if I wanted to wait because it's their lunch and that's when I was informed of the 1 pm time. My husband is a medical professional and took off time to be with me but unfortunately had to return to work to see patients so now our moment to see the baby together and speak with the Dr. together is ruined. No words to explain the disappointment. The front desk is very unprofessional, immature, unapologetic, and cannot communicate. *** update *** I did blood work to find out the gender of my baby. I was told it would take 2 weeks to find out and I would be contacted by the office as soon as the results came in. 2 weeks came and went with no call. I ended up contacting the office myself to get the results. The results came in September 16, I called September 30. 14 days my results sat in the office and no phone call was made. Again precious moments ruined.

She took her time and answered all my questions. I was induced by her recommendation at 38 weeks and although that process wasn't ideal, I have a healthy and happy baby. I'm grateful for their treatment and care. The nurses are all nice and friendly. The only staff member I didn't care too much for is one of the ladies up front who works at the check in and check out counter. She has short black hair but I never got her name. She can be rude and makes you feel rushed. I didn't care for her attitude but don't feel my rating should be impacted by one person.

I trust his judgement on the needs that I am facing with Arthritis and Rheumatoid Arthritis. He is always professional but more importantly he makes you feel at ease, explains everything to you and will not release you from his care until he is sure your completely well (it means that his surgery or treatment has succeeded}. I love his wonderful attitude about everything about his caring staff. His Clinic Techs are so helpful, they will do anything. I had a certain Dr.'s office that the Techs had to fax the orders over to the same number 5 times. So as you can see he is the best, his staff is also the best.

What impressed me the most was that Dr. Sledge used surgery as a last result. After the MRI showed a tear in the rotator cuff, surgery was the only logical option. During the surgery, Dr. Sledge included the anesthesiologist and Physician's Asst, Ms. Book. They have been working together as a team for years and worked very well together. The incision was so small, you couldn't find the scar after 5 weeks. Wow! PS. When they recommend the shoulder block, take it. Best decision. After surgery, recovery wasn't fun but they warned me about it. Just be patient and the pain will decrease each week. Ms Book, the PA, has done a great job after the surgery helping me to understand how to get my shoulder back to normal. What most impressed me was that she has been in the field for 17 years and knows her stuff. She gave very detailed explanations and advice. It has been nine weeks since the surgery and I am almost back to normal. At 12 weeks, I should be good to go. If I ever need shoulder work again, I will see Dr Sledge without hesitation.
