She served us coffee and then took our breakfast order. Which was Canadian Benedict, Spicy Chicken Breakfast Bowl and two cups of the best coffee we have tasted at a restaurant. Didn't take long and our breakfast was in front of us steaming hot. Falicia asked us if we were enjoying our choices of breakfast with our mouths full of delight we nodded yes!!! Felica took great care of us by keeping our coffees full and making sure we were happy with the food. In fact all the staff had smiles and friendly. This new Breakfast Place called mbc did not disappoint and we will be back. This Breakfast place is a hopping place on the weekend, you may want to call ahead to reserve a table and time. One very pleasant waitress and what appeared to be 3 kitchen staff. Our order of a BLT and 1/2 eggs bennie took almost an hour to arrive, we were just about to get up and leave. The blt had so much mayo it initially looked like an egg had been add to the sandwich because of the thick white strip on the outside of the bread. Once that was scraped off the bacon was delicious. The bennie was awful and sent back. The egg was cold, the hollandaise was cold, the avocado was brown and the hashbrown patty was almost black. The waitress kept trying to justify the condition of the food, I finally said I would not eat this at home so why would I eat it here? The bennie was removed from the bill however she acted like it was a huge favor not to pay for awful food. Even IF the food had been wonderful the prices were on the high side. Definitely would not recommend.

I came to check out this coffee shop when I was scoping a place to work for the day. Pleasantly surprised as it wasn't too busy but had a decent amount of seating and free wifi. I was really excited to see they had a beetroot latte on the menu which is something I've seen around but never tried. It cost a pretty penny around close to $6. The drink was not exciting at all - while pink, I expected some sort of latte art or something (not going to lie, I was ordering the drink partially because I wanted a nice photo). But to my dismay, the drink came in a takeaway paper cup even though I was sitting in, and secondly it was pretty much just super foamy on the top... no attempt at a nice pour of the milk. The drink was super sweet - I should have asked for it unsweetened. I think the sweetness covered up the beet taste, I could sense that it was there but just barely which was sad. Otherwise, service was okay. It was a bit awkward since it was really quiet when I arrived and the one staff wasn't at the counter. When she met me at the till, she didn't really say anything or make small talk (or even say hello really). But she did notice my struggle to fit myself at a small table and moved some flowers for me, plus it just seemed like she was working hard to keep busy by cleaning the place. I know I'm a coffee snob so that's more of where my review is coming from. I think if you're coming here for just a nice place to study/work plus order the regular drip coffee - it's a cute place overall.

I travel through Airdrie a lot and have grown accustom to stopping into this location to use their bathroom and grab a coffee. This location is always well kept with friendly staff and usually isn't very busy. They know how to make your order and won't mess up your extra-hot-no-foam-soy-sugar-free-10-pump-caffeine-induced-addiction. Like Starbucks? Then drop by this location on your way through Airdrie.

The worst service was from the manager that's not organized when it becomes busy. Instead of doing it all herself there was some barista's that could have helped during the rush just to get the people in and out as quick as possible. There were so many people just standing waiting for their order. I ordered through my mobile app, said 12 minutes will be ready, perfect that works for me. 9:45 am is when the order should've been ready, 9:50 am comes and goes 9:55 am comes and goes still no order, now it's min to 10 am. Normally I'd wait patiently, unfortunately I couldn't today I had a 10 am appointment. I finally flagged the manager down and asked when my order will be done. Her response was I have 20 drinks ahead of yours (mine) the time would have been 10:10 am for my order possibly longer the way things were going. My response was I would like a refund I'm unable to wait any longer. My suggestion is this unorganized manager is this don't think you can do it all yourself!! If it becomes chaotic shut down the mobile app order for a bit until you catch up at your location. Yup I left empty handed!! So with refund in hand I went to my appointment. Ordered 2 stepped tea and 2 breakfast sandwiches and 2 donuts the tea and donuts was great had to return one of breakfast sandwich, because of egg shells in the egg. Gross taking a bit expecting a nice soft egg and chomping into egg shell!!! Lucky for me I had to show the manager the egg shells and then they made me a new one and came with an apology. I can hear the manager giving a talk to the guilty party that made the eggs. Can't deny the proof was in the egg shells in my breakfast sandwich!
