I love coffee. They have different kinds of concoction with their coffee. I had tonic with espresso and yum... If you're passing through or visiting Calgary, please stop by and try their coffee. I especially love how strong the coffee is.

Searching for tasty caffeination in a memorable location? Look no further. Phil & Sebastian is located steps away from the beautiful Bow River in the restored Simmons Mattress Factory, buzzing with activity from the neighboring restaurant and bakery. Even the P&S roasting happens in this appropriately industrial space. The baristas are friendly, fast, and successful in making tasty beverages! I ordered an Iced Latte and my husband tried the Black & Tonic - a cold brew with tonic water and hints of cherry. My latte was great, but obviously not as exciting and interesting as my husband's choice... Jealous? Yes. I love it when a shop can take coffee seriously but still have fun with experimental flavors and twists!

Happy 100th anniversary Simmons Building! Yet another thing in Calgary that dates back to 1912. During WWII, it manufactured bedding for the military. The Simmons Building is at the heart of the riverwalk in the East Village. Offices in the front and a large open area in the back, it'd make for a lovely event space. It just so happened it was an outdoor food truck event space today. The interior has a hardwood floor and exposed brick walls. Add a few twinkling lights and you've got yourself some atmosphere! For large events, parking can be a bit tricky in the area. Mostly, you'll want to find pay parking on the street or make your way over from Inglewood.

Croissant, spiced Chai tea latte, double espresso

I love how they serve their espresso with a glass of sparkling water! It's just like in Italy! Wish there was more outdoor seating. The coffee shop was quite busy on a Sunday morning.

Small batch, identifies the location and date of harvest, on site roasting, and perfect atmosphere for your coffee. They sell their beans on site and and can adjust the grind.

No Wifi networks worked at all and I paid $5 for a premade, boxed Tazo iced chai tea.

Drove all this way for a coffee shop that is only a single $ yet it's more expensive then most $$ coffee shops. $6.50 for a mocha?!

I visited Calgary and have heard great things about the coffee scene so I had to check out a few of…read morethe local cafes. Phil & Sebastian topped my list. The first time I went, there was a trainee barista which was very kind and patient but unfortunately they don't do pour overs anymore - when I pressed them about it, the reason was Covid. I'm not sure what covid has to do with anything since it's a pretty easy thing to keep on the side with low operating cost (I have one at home - total cost about $80) I ended up getting the drip coffee which was quite delicious- they were serving an Ethiopian origin coffee which was bright, fruity, floral but quite acidic. The next day I went back and met another barista who was clearly not interested in being there and was making conversation with another customer about how he hated Calgary and wished he never moved here (apparently from vancouver). While I can understand his sentiment being from Calgary myself and then moving away, it's not really a great way to start the day. The negativity was filling the air. He seemed like a knowledgeable enough guy but I don't think I'll go back if he's there. I ended up getting a bag of the Ethiopian coffee and I'll just make it myself when I get home If you're looking for a place to get a great cup of coffee and go, then definitely check this place out but don't expect to leave feeling energized by the environment. 4/5 bc the coffee and donuts are delicious

Great coffee, even better staff, I can't say enough about Calgary Heritage Roasters…read more This is where we pick up our Ritual Donut's every Friday! It also happens to be across the parking lot from the coworking space I work at. It's convenient, but it's also a tad dangerous if you know what I mean... Calgary Heritage Roasters has it all! The building they're in is beautifully rustic and offers a lovely sit down atmosphere. Their staff are as warm as can be and go above and beyond when it comes to service. Every part of this place is welcoming! And the coffee, oh the coffee! For sure one of the best in Calgary. Here's a quick review on what I've ordered... RATING: 9/10 - Americano This is my go-to, no fail coffee order. The espresso is strong and smooth and makes the perfect americano. RATING: 9/10 - Dirty Chai I get one of these when I'm feeling a bit naughty... the best treat. A dirty chai is a chai latte with a shot of espresso. The chai flavor mixed with the espresso from CHRC is a match made in heaven. If you're looking for an extreme pick-me-up caffeine buzz, you need to order yourself a dirty chai. This is a favourite for my sister and everyone I work with. At the end of the day, CHRC is an absolute gem of a cafe. If you're in the Ramsey, Inglewood area, it is 100% worth a stop.
