He was professional, did what he promised when he promised, and did it well. Our builder turned out to be very unscrupulous and caused many wasted hours for all of our subs, but Dan didn't complain and he continued to do excellent work. When the Builder unexpectedly pulled out and departed our unfinished job, never to return, Dan was professional enough to continue to finish the project with us. Dan was also much more aware of codes than the builder, and he was the one who got us to completion - again having to take on tasks that were not his responsibility. I told him why I needed to rearrange the electrical system in my house. The purpose for the indoor work was to hook-up a power generator and getting it up and running outside. He didn't tell me in advance what accessories I'd need to buy. I was charged for his time waiting for me to get the items. It was very frustrating because the stores didn't have what I needed and I had to drive all over town searching for it. I would not recommend doing business with them without first getting a written statement for all the work they plan to do and all of their charges in advance. Also, one of their workers spilled gasoline all over and I had to pay twice to fill my generator. He charged me almost $2,000 when his estimate was for only $1,000. He acted like hooking up a generator is not his job as an electrician, yet a handyman would not have known what to do because this required specialized knowledge, something only a licensed electrician would be qualified to know and do the job correctly and safely.

It has been almost a year since the installation and it has performed flawlessly with the exception of the Xfinity thermostat which had some software glitches from Carrier that were resolved. This is a high end system and it works as I envisioned and has many options available through the thermostat that must be learned. I am having a whole house humidifier installed that will be controlled through the thermostat that will help with the air quality and efficiency. The installation was done professionally and correctly. The glitches were addressed quickly and properly. The installation technicians are knowledgeable and efficient. My heating and cooling costs are less even with Duke Energy's incessant rate hikes. I would recommend this company to anyone from a lower end budget customer to a high end.
