The back was buckled, drawers moved poorly, veneer on the sides was cracking and buckling off. They did such a beautiful restoration job. The chests gleam, the drawers move smoothly, the wood is a joy to touch, the veneer carefully bolstered. They kept to the original wood as much as possible, adding small pieces where there were gaps in drawer bottoms or where shims were needed. They made the right choice in choosing not to refinish the hidden face of the bottom chest, protecting records inked into the wood by and about the original purchaser. We'll definitely bring other antiques we inherited to the brothers, and highly recommend their work to others.

They have a variety of vintage women's clothing, shoes and accessories. This includes everything from casual clothing (jeans and sneakers) to formalwear. There's also jewelry, scarves- even lingerie. I got a kick out of the housewares, which included all kinds of funky glasses, dishes, candlesticks, art... Lots of interesting pieces, and I saw lots of potential gifts. In fact, I picked up a couple of cool bags for my sister's birthday. The place is really set off by the sounds of old music on the radio, which works beautifully in this cool shop with its lovely building and unique inventory. You could easily pick this place up and put it in a busier downtown shopping/tourist area- but I'm happy it's right here! Oh, and the coolest part? The shop is run as part of a nonprofit, and the proceeds benefit the local community help center, which includes a food pantry, emergency fund, and other services.
