Everywhere I reached out to wasn't available for a few days or more, Good News Junk was available same day! They were quick to respond, quick to arrive, and great price. I booked trash removal services with this company. My conversation was initially pleasant with the owner of the company. I booked trash removal services with ease. However, upon "completion" of the job there was trash still left at my property. I was told by an employee (Richard) that they would return the next business day to pick up the remainder of the trash. However, three business days past and I hadn't heard back from Richard or any of his company employers . I finally reached out to my intial point of contact to inquire on the pick up of the remaining items. He wasn't aware of his employee (Richard) promising to return. However, he sent a crew back to pick up the items. During the first pick up I spoke to Richard about picking up a vehicle for waste removal. He asked did I have the Pink slip I TOLD him NO! He stated he couldn't remove the vehicle within the pink slip. This is why I'm writing this review! Richard showed up at my residence unannounced at 7:00pm wearing dark clothing! I hadn't spoken with him or anyone else from this company IN TWO WEEKS! This was very unprofessional and unsafe! I refused to open the door! He drove his personal vehicle which didn't have a towing device! Again, I stress I haven't spoken with anyone affiliated with this company within a two week time period! I immediately called the person I originally spoke to. He reassured me that he wasn't aware of the situation but he'd find out what was going on. Well of course Richard stated he was following up, but two weeks later? In your personal vehicle? Without a business card? No apology can take back the unprofessionalism and safety hazard that this employee has displayed! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICES! It seems as if their employee (Richard) had alternative motives. I'm thankful that I was smart enough NOT to open my front door! Be careful when booking it's clear they don't stream through their employees applications deep enough! I had a ottoman and a mini fridge to be removed. When I contacted them for a quote it was $60-$75 so I agree to give them the job over the other companies. He came and when showed up at the door there's no greeting or introducing himself all he did was to simply ask "where are the stuff" and the. He proceed to enter my home without a mask and without shoe coverings. Although removing of the items were quickly, but the overall experience was disappointing. When it came time for the payments he told me I have to pay $78 instead of the previously quoted price since I don't have Venmo or cash app (which was not stated previously that different payment methods would have different costs). Probably wouldn't hire again due to the poor overall experience and not the price that was quoted. read more

He asked a few additional questions and gave me a quote (that was very reasonable and didn't change when they arrived). I went back to the website and scheduled my appointment for the next day; once again, the owner quickly responded confirming my appointment. About 30 minutes before my appointment, they texted letting me know that someone would arrive shortly. The young man that showed up was very polite and quick.
