Corey emailed me some information but I was still just all nervous and spastic. Then Jerry called from the truck to say he and Alex were on the way and asked if I was all set. No one ever asks if I'm all set, they just say they're coming. When I explained my worries, he instantly eased them. He was calm and articulate and sure of his responses. Very cool! When he and Alex arrived and introduced themselves, I felt such relief. "Calm, cool and collected." They took charge, asked and answered and I know this is silly but I just felt so rescued -- these guys are knights! I didn't realize how uptight I was about this process -- I feel lighter now. I thought I'd feel like a big schlub watching someone else do my work. I was sure I'd regret giving away my precious dollars instead of doing it myself. I was wrong -- It's the best gift you can give yourself; all I feel is gratitude and relief. Let these guys take care of you -- you have enough on your plate that you can't outsource. We are downsizing and need to get rid of multiple furniture items before we move. Our community does not allow yard sales---so what to do? After seeing the other Yelp reviews, I called Stand Up Guys to haul the items to Goodwill. They should change their name to Phenomenal Guys because this is about the best service I've ever gotten. I spoke with Cory on the phone to schedule the day/time. I had a lot of questions and he answered every one. Rally easy to book, got an email confirmation and reminder from him. Danny and Ricky showed up on-time and got right to work. This is a 3 story house and there were furniture items on each floor. They worked quickly, took care not to damage the walls or other furniture, hauled it all away to Goodwill AND brought me back a receipt for taxes. Both Danny and Ricky were friendly, had a great attitude, asked me if they had a question, and were very professional. I will be scheduling them again when we do the final move out so they can come back and clean out those final bags and remnants that you have at the end of every move. WOW! What a wonderful service and what great guys! Jeremy was the lead on the team who came out to remove my old sofa today. It was a really big, heavy sofa. These guys picked it up and had it on the truck in minutes. They made the whole event look effortless. I've moved that sofa, so I know it wasn't! This was my first time using Stand Up Guys Junk Removal. I will never mind having stuff that needs to be hauled off! I'll be calling Stand Up Guys and having them come by again. I originally scheduled my appointment later in the week and then realized that I was ready for them sooner in the week. It was quite easy to book a new appointment and cancel the original one online without having to call. Jeremy called me to offer me an earlier time and was gracious when I said that I couldn't schedule any earlier. He later called me to let me know a closer estimate of when they would arrive. Best on price, and service was excellent! Called this company and three others to remove a large pile of trash and debris from some recent renovations and repairs. They were the only one's that could come out that same week. I scheduled a quote via their very easy to use online calendaring system, and a removal team showed up when requested. They were very professional, called before arriving, loaded everything up as tight as it could go, and charged me less than I was anticipating. I don't normally leave reviews, but the professionalism and speed in which this company tackled my project, certainly warrants one. Very happy with the service, and will definitely use them for any future projects. Oh, and they emailed an invoice upon completion, with a link to their online payment system. It was very convenient. Booked an appointment for 2pm. Got to the house 10 minutes before that time to find a card on the door. They'd come by earlier than the appointment time. We moved 40 minutes away and were counting on the time booked. Unfortunately, I mistyped our phone number by a single digit. They called that number instead, not even bothering to ask if who they were calling was their customer. Left and rebooked our appointment. We needed this done by tomorrow. Told us to call someone else. Poor customer service. Will not use or recommend. -------- Update: We were contacted by the owner with apologies and solutions; unfortunately, we had already reached out to another company to help us ASAP. He offered free same day service or reimbursement. My boyfriend and I appreciate their efforts and would have accepted their first offer had we not already called someone else. I called Stand Up Guys at 5:00 p.m. on Friday to see if they could remove a bunch of junk from a rental house we own in Woodstock, GA. The tenant had left a ton of junk and we needed the house to be emptied so we could put it on the market and sell it. I spoke with Carson and he said he could have a truck with guys to estimate and remove the next day! So Saturday at 2:00 p.m. Clark and two movers showed up. We agreed upon a VERY reasonable price and at 5:30 p.m. they had filled their second truck load and the house was EMPTY Clark and his guys not only carted away a bunch of junk, but they pulled up carpeting, pads and the tack strips. After using 1800 GOT JUNK for years, I decided to go in another direction as I was doing some Spring cleaning. I live in Woodstock and wanted to find someone local to give them a try. It was nice to actually speak with someone instead of a recording. They were extremely nice and informative from the get go. My junk was scattered everywhere! Called in earlier (not even 2 hours ago) to have a sectional removed from my driveway. Phone customer service was amazing, thorough and prompt. Guys showed up earlier than scheduled appointment because they were nearby on another pickup, called me in advance to ask if that was okay. Guys showed up in uniform, gave a quote and proceeded to load up the job. Gentlemen were courteous and professional. HIGHLY recommend. Stand Up Guys Junk Removal was GREAT! I would absolutely use them again. I was in Florida cleaning out my Aunt's condo after she passed away. The amount of furniture and other stuff I'd need to trash continued to build up far beyond the number of items I had initially expected. We contacted Standup Guys to remove about half a truck load of junk, construction debris, and household items that could be useful to others. They arrived at the arranged time and quickly loaded the items. They made sure they had loaded everything we intended to get rid of. Then they swept the floor in our garage leaving it totally clean. Both times they came promptly, calling ahead to let me know they were on the way. All the guys were neat and polite and ready to work. They didn't try and upcharge me or rip me off after I had to add an item last minute. They went above and beyond the services I requested for and even worked around my two dogs that I forgot to put away. We had a some (carpet scraps/rolls, a broken shelf) left in our basement from the previous owners that we wanted to dispose of and this place looked rather straightforward and reasonably priced. I did have a few hiccups with the crew, but after talking to customer service we were able to iron things out and I'm feeling satisfied. I called Stand up Guys on Saturday for a few big items around the house. They gave me a very reasonable price and agreed to come pick up my stuff on Monday at 8 am. This morning, 10 min before 8, they call to let me know that they were on their way, and seriously came right at 8. They were incredibly professional, punctual, and very quick (took less than 15 min moving refrigerator, big couch, a mattress, and some other smaller stuff). Jeremy and John were awesome. I have hardwood floors and white carpet. They were very careful. They removed an old HD TV, a heavy large desk, multiple pieces of exercise equipment efficiently. The call I made to schedule was responded to within an hour, and the pick up was made within a 2 day time frame the week of Thanksgiving. They arrived on time and the cost was fair.
