We popped in to this new school just this week and my child and I overheard the owner yelling at the teachers like I've never heard before! My Lord it was horrible and startled my child! We turned around and left as fast as possible and when I got to my car I asked the lady next to me if she knew anything about the school, all she said was she was told the director quit. Well no surprise! When my child got in the car she told me that she didn't want to go to the mad school. Are ya kidding me! It took me a long time to get her to want to go to school and this happens? Be careful mamas! Over the phone the owner was the kindest thing then seeing her treat people in that manner makes me wonder how long her teachers will be there.

His teachers have done so much to encourage his natural curiosity. He tells us all the time how much he loves school. One morning we pulled into the parking lot really early and he could see his teacher was changing out the learning materials from the last unit to the next. He squealed, "We are learning something new!" I could hardly get him out of the car fast enough. He is also very grounded in the concepts of love, acceptance, and kindness to all. Montessori is awesome and Preston Ridge does it better than anyone else around. Our daughters have just started the pre-primary class and at two they are learning letter sounds, healthy routines, math fundamentals, and how to be good friends and classmates. We know that in three years, they too will be ready for the world outside of this wonderful school as good learners and good little humans.

We have been attending since early 2020 and have had several great teachers and caregivers along the way. Some moments were extra hard to leave a classroom. We've watched our child grow and learn so much over the years and I believe it's been a large contributor to combat her shyness. Goddard has been the one and only place we've entrusted with our daughter since 6mo of age and Ms. Zina / Ms. Pam have been there for us all the way-what gems, it's been such a pleasure to know them. The latest great addition at the beginning of the year has been Ms. Tiffany (pre-K) who, with Ms. Mary, livens up the room and brings many different ideas/activities to the class. My girl was definitely ready for the next big step, thanks to them. They all really love on our kids and it takes a special soul to deal with so many personalities on a daily basis. May God continue to bless this staff and touch so many lives. It can be hard to vet a quality childcare provider, but this one has proven to exceed our expectations.

Review for The Goddard School (Suwanee Pre-K Program)…read more Our 4-year-old son attended this Goddard location for about a month in the Pre-K program. We waited a few weeks after withdrawing him before sharing our experience because we wanted to be sure he was adjusting well in a different environment and he truly is. Pros: Good curriculum and a clean, secure facility. Cons: From the very first day, his teacher (Angela) repeatedly told us that he "doesn't listen," and that first impression never seemed to change. Instead of partnering with us, we felt that our son was being singled out with a continued negative focus. We tried to discipline him more at home based on this feedback, and in hindsight, we regret how this affected him. Communication was almost nonexistent. We asked for weekly updates and only received one. The school app, where teachers are expected to communicate, had very limited personalized information. Interactions with his teacher often felt unfriendly. When we greeted her in the mornings, she provided cold response, which made us feel unwelcome rather than supported. Management was unaware of these ongoing issues until we brought them up. While they expressed willingness to help, but we felt that their suggestions were not convincing. We completely understand that teachers can be firm, that is perfectly fine. But fairness and collaboration matter. When a child is viewed through a negative lens from day one, that can impact not only their confidence but also the parent-school relationship. We ultimately removed him because we did not want him in an environment that felt discouraging. He is now attending a new Pre-K program and has adjusted wonderfully. In several weeks, we have not received a single complaint from his new teachers. This reassured us that his struggles at Goddard were not due to who he is as a child, but the environment he was placed in. Most reviews for this school are very positive, and that is exactly why we feel obligated to share our honest experience. If we had known, we would not have enrolled our son here. Parents considering this Pre-K program should ask clear questions about communication and how behavior concerns are handled. We hope our feedback helps the school improve so every child and every parent feels supported

I especially recommend Messiah for families with their first child entering school. They did such a great job helping both our daughter and us as parents transition into school life. They created a welcoming environment while teaching her the routines and skills she needed to feel comfortable and confident at school. Throughout the year, they prepared her so well for GA Pre-K by teaching everything from following a school routine and practicing good lunch-time manners to writing her name and becoming more independent. We were so impressed by how much she learned and how well prepared she was for the next step. We are incredibly grateful to Kara and Hannah for their patience, care, and dedication. As a teacher myself, I appreciate the emphasis they put on education, as he has learned more than I could have ever imagined. The entire staff is constantly going above and beyond each and every week to make learning a BLAST. It is super apparent that creating a fun learning environment is a high priority. A few other things to note is their top notch communication efforts. We are always in the know about every thing! As well as the diversity, which can be hard to find in this area. I love that my son gets to celebrate our traditions while also learning about cultures different than his. Lastly, my son is HIGH ENERGY and can be a lot at times. The entire staff at Goddard has never once made us feel like he is a burden, in fact quite the opposite. They have always welcomed his energy with open arms and big smiles, which is huge for me! I toured and signed up for a 4 day spot at the Goddard School (Windward Pkwy). I was required to…read morepay a deposit fee plus an entire month's tuition up front to secure my spot ($1700 total). 24 hours later I received a message from the school I was on a waitlist for that a 5 day spot was now available, which is what we really needed. I explained to Goddard management that the other school was 5 min from my house, less expensive, and most importantly had a 5 day spot available. I asked if I could at least get some of my money back given the circumstances. They refused to give me back ANY of the $1700 deposit despite the fact that they only had it for less than 48 business hours. My child never even visited the school. They claimed that I could have taken a spot from someone else. I paid them Thursday afternoon and informed them Monday morning about my change of plans. If someone visited Friday who wanted that spot, am I really supposed to believe they couldn't have contacted them immediately on Monday to let them know about an opening? I reached out again and was told they never filled the spot. So if you couldn't fill that spot anyway, why couldn't I get even half of my money back? It's not like we took someone else's spot (according to them anyway). The school we ended up joining didn't require any deposit to secure my spot, and the owner purposely enrolls less students than the GA requirement to provide a better and more nurturing environment. My son has about 13 kids in his class vs. the 20+ children in the Goddard class. It's clear that the owner is all about money and posting on social media. I am so happy we found a better place for my child.

This was definitely a great choice especially after being turned away for having a child with an IEP by a daycare nearby. The teachers are so caring and that starts with great leadership, all the way to the top! The owner's daughter goes to one of the schools-proof that they believe in the strength of this program. The owner really cares about the children, even opening the schools early to give some of the kids a place to stay and have breakfast when they had no where else to go. The owner has many businesses but continues to open more Chroma centers because of their belief and passion in helping kids. The tuition is very reasonable...even when improvements were made they still kept the tuition the same, to try and keep things affordable. While we lived fairly far we kept our kids there for as long as we could. Thank you to all the wonderful teachers and staff!
