There aren't enough good things I could say about Dave Solimine! My husband and I just got married this New Years Eve and we knew one of the most important parts of our wedding was going to be the music. We just wanted all of our friends & family dancing all night long. And Dave did not disappoint whatsoever! I had discovered Dave when I was a guest at a friend's wedding that he was DJ'ing. This wedding took place 5 years ago, before I even knew my husband, but the music he played always stuck with me, so the second we were engaged, I reached out to Dave. From the very beginning he was so easy to work with, always available to answer any questions, and just over all understood what we wanted. As our day got closer, he was great with checking in with us to make sure we didn't have any last minute changes or questions. Dave not only DJ'd for our wedding reception but he also did the music for our ceremony & cocktail hour. The music was absolutely perfect! I had picked a few different songs to be played during the ceremony, and every single song was played perfectly to go with what was happening during the ceremony. After all of that he introduced our bridal party, which was HUGE, and did an incredible job. Dave also did our uplighting of our reception room, and the lighting looked awesome throughout the night. The number of guests from my wedding that have called or texted me since, couldn't stop talking about how much they loved the music played and that the dance floor was never empty the entire night. And we had over 200 guests that ranged in ages from 15-90 and when I say everyone was dancing, everyone was dancing! Dave did an incredible job! I could not have asked for a better DJ to not only DJ my wedding but DJ a huge new years eve party on top of that! We finished the night with Dave announcing the countdown which was just perfect! Dave took care of the music for our ceremony and was a great MC, when we had a local celebrity make an appearance at the wedding. We had such a fun wedding, thanks to Dave! He kept our dance floor packed and rocking for our entire wedding. We, and all of our guests, had so much fun dancing all night long thanks to Dave's awesome DJ skills! I had so many guests come up to me and tell me that he was the best DJ that they have ever seen. I knew that with Dave as our DJ, we would be guaranteed an awesome party. Dave is super nice, relaxed, and easy to work with. He was not phased at all about coming to our wedding venue - which was an island on Lake Winnipesaukee! Other DJs we talked to were worried about transporting their equipment over on the boat, but Dave wasn't bothered by that at all and was actually excited to stay overnight in one of the camp cabins! It was after that conversation that we knew that Dave was a perfect match for us and our wedding. He also helped coordinate sound for our ceremony site, and played wonderful music during our cocktail hour and dinner. His style is no-fuss, and doesn't try to be the center of attention while making announcements throughout the night. Many businesses are doing their best during covid but this one is not. Contracted for a wedding but the reception venue told us we could not proceed forward since the state of MA wants a vaccine in order to resume business. Every vendor we informed and provided proof the reception vendor gave us a refund (it was a destination wedding for us since i was born there but don't live there )for gave us a refund but this guy. Your state won't even allow me to enter the state w/out a 14 day quarantine. You Came recommended from our reception venue and I've let them know u won't refund my deposit even though covid is beyond my control. They assured me they won't recommend u to other brides in the future. U suck read more

We hired Dave to do our wedding last July and couldn't have had a better experience. Dave was in contact with us prior to our day, making sure he knew exactly what we wanted play and what we didn't as well. Upon arriving to our reception site, Dave was well underway with cocktail music and there to greet us and double check everything for our entries. During dinner the power went out and my husband and I didn't even notice because Dave kept his cool and had everything back up and running - he even called for a back-up generator just in case. Once the dancing began...it never stopped. Everyone was out on the dance floor from my 4 year old niece to my 86 year old uncle! Good Times Unlimited helped to make our wedding reception a truly incredible occassion. I was really blown away by their friendliness and responsiveness from start to finish. When we were first getting in touch with them, to see about hiring them, they were felxible in adjusting our meeting times in order to accomodate our schedule (we had to cancel our first meeting at the last minute and they roled with it without complaint). From the first time that we met Dave Solimine and Steve Aprille at our initial planning meeting, I knew that we'd be in good hands. During the preparation for the reception, I appreciate how Dave participated in multiple phone calls with me (as I made several changes to playlist and the order and content of reception events). He made sure that everything would be just right. At the reception itself, DJ Steve Aprille blew the doors off it. Everyone had a blast. The playlist was so good and so well mixed (there was a nice variety of current songs and songs from earlier decades). There was something for everyone. Our guests kept saying that they just had to get up and dance because "my song" was being played. Almost every song was "that song" for someone and the dance floor was packed all night. I think that a good sign of the quality of the mix of songs was that we had multiple generations of people cycling in and out of the dance floor. Steve was interactive and set a really nice vibe for everyone. He exuded good will. He kept things light and fun. He was interactive, but kept the full focus of the night on us. He took requests from our guests and was very responsive to those requests. Towards the end of the evening, Steve gave us what was explained as one extra song (but it was probably two or three extra songs). I know that we left after midnight and he definitely stayed longer than the period of time for which we had compensated him. And here's the topper that really speaks to Steve's character. About an hour after the end of the reception, at 1:00 a.m., he arrived at the bar at the hotel where we were staying to bring a piece of camera equipment left by the photographer. The photographer was still with us and she was very grateful for his generosity. I can't thank this company enough. They helped to facilitate such an incredible night. read more

I had Kevin Stallings DJ at my wedding on 10-3-15 and my Wife and I could not be more happy about the service and over all experience we had with Good Times Unlimited. Before the wedding Dave was in contact with us and made sure every detail was in order. We did not give Kevin much direction in regards to what type of music to play. I spoke with him 20 minutes prior to the ceremony and told him "keep it up beat, a lot of dancing, NO "electric slide" "we are family" or Conga Lines. I honestly do not believe I have ever seen the entire crowd get up and start dancing immediately after dinner and not stop dancing until the end of the night. My husband and I hired Good Times Unlimited to DJ our wedding. They were absolutely fantastic! Dave Solimine was excellent with communication CCing every email to both my husband and me. He was prompt with replies to every question and endlessly patient. Dave was booked on our day so his coworker Stephen Aprille DJed our wedding. He was just perfect! He double checked everything with us and made sure each and every name was pronounced correctly which was no small feat with our French and Italian families! He played exactly what we asked for and kept everyone on the dance floor. He even made note that our first dance song was over 4 minutes long and asked us to look over to him if we thought it was dragging, which neither my husband nor I even thought of. He went above and beyond the call of duty when my mom surprised everyone by handing out glowsticks for our final dance by running around trying to find a staff member at the venue to lower the lights. Not to mention, my husband and I made a mistake about the end time of our wedding and with only days notice was able to stay an extra hour and made it a non issue. He is incredibly friendly and he felt like more like a friend than a hired DJ. We will be using Good Times Unlimited for all our future DJ needs. read more
