Our playlist from Brendan Lau was "songs you could dance to" according to the Best Man of other wedding #1. The DJ of Other Wedding #2 apparently didn't have consistency in flow and music, and this DJ couldn't get as many guests onto the dancefloor as Brendan could. We had Greg at Beat Train DJ our wedding as he also DJ'd my sisters wedding and did a fantastic job. Of course he gave us repeat service for our own special day. Everything was perfect and he was extremely helpful leading up to the wedding as well with suggestions, and clarifications, and asking what we want to happen, including bringing things to our attention that we might not have thought of yet. You might think that you can save a few bucks by hiring the local kid from your neighborhood as a DJ and have him bring his laptop and itunes...that couldn't be further from the truth. I have been to other weddings where that happened and there are so many more things that separate real and amateur DJ's and set the tone for the night. If you want your night to be perfect, skimping out on the DJ is not what you want to do. You want a professional and these are the people to call. read more

DJ Omari is THE BEST. Most of our wedding guests were about 28-36 years old, so I requested that Omari play some current top hits and popular songs from the 2000's for the dance floor. And he nailed the whole mix. The dance floor was packed the entire reception! Multiple people came up to me afterwards to say how perfect the music was the entire night. Even guests that are usually anti-dance floor got up and couldn't stop dancing. I, myself, found it hard to take a break and say hello to other guests because I didn't want to miss a song. Your wedding DJ can really shape the vibe of the reception, and DJ Omari made our wedding a true dance party. I could not have been happier. He also nailed the music I wanted for the bridal party entrance. For some songs I wanted it to start at the chorus and for others maybe start at a specific verse. He had no issue with that and executed it beautifully. And as a bonus, he has a great voice for MCing! Honestly, I have nothing but praise for DJ Omari! Wow, DJ Brendan brought our wedding to the next level. When we first connected with Brendan, we were immediately impressed by how engaged and professional he was.
