I travel a lot for work and I train in various martial arts. I dropped in here to take party in their sparring session. It was a fantastic technique based spar. I was a complete new face in the gym and they new I was only there for one day but they could not have been more welcoming. Terry and Christina, the owners, are fantastic people. They teach a technique tree called superfoot. It's tricky but crazy effective. They were pretty patient with me as they thought me the basic concepts. LOVE this place. I felt reassured right away that I was at the right place with the right people. The professional, thorough, comprehensive evaluation process at FitLab alleviated my initial fear of the unknown. On my very first day of training I met with Brandt, his positive, upbeat, non-judgmental demeanor quickly eased my feelings of apprehension and embarrassment. I received this evaluation with the InBody scale that delivers highly precise and ultra-accurate results. WOW, this InBody machine gives you so much information about what your body is actually composed of currently. This was an eye-opening experience for me by seeing these numbers and what I must work on. I was able to see where I need the most help and not just step on the scale to measure my weight. Then Brandt sat down, went over the results thoroughly, and explained everything to me in detail. Brandt developed a training program specifically to my goals. He made me believe I was not as bad off as I thought and I was very capable of achieving my health and fitness goals, which inspired me to want to come back and without hesitation I signed up for a year personal training. Brandt is always prompt to our sessions twice a week, is always prepared and does a great job of "mixing up" sessions. His background and excellent credentials instill confidence, and are evident when he explains the rationale, target, and proper form for every exercise. He is very diligent about ensuring proper technique for each element of our training sessions and I can feel the difference immediately. Most importantly, he challenges, encourages, and literally motivates me every single time we train. As a bonus, he also has a pleasant personality and enjoyable sense of humor and very attentive. Now that I have been training 2 days a week for the last few weeks, I can honestly say that Brandt has gone from making a good first impression to being one of my favorite people, and has proven himself a trustworthy, reliable, truly Top-Notch trainer. It's always a small class size and the owners quickly get to know everyone well beyond just your name. I go regularly for the surfset classes. Surfset was an invention I once saw on the show Shark Tank. I was delighted when the classes came to Manchester. The surf board is securely attached to stability balls. Every move you do requires stability and therefore your abs get a major workout. Every surfset class is a different routine, which keeps it interesting. You get strength training added in with the use of kettlebells, medicine balls, and hand weights. You get a great cardio workout from it as well. It's a lot wrapped up in a 50 minute workout and it's fun! You can reserve your board online up to 2 weeks in advance. There is a limit of 9 people per class so be sure to sign up. In the warmer months, Saturday morning surfset classes are often taught at a local park when the weather permits. I highly recommend giving it a try! Your first class is always free. Come a few minutes early so they can review some of the moves with you and you know what to expect. Bring water and a towel as you'll need them in this class! TI Fitness also has boot camp classes. If you are interested in running or becoming a better runner, they also have a variety of running programs to help your particular needs. They also have many children's fitness classes.

The trainers create purposeful 30 min training plans for the group, switching things up daily to make it interesting and challenging. They are flexible with accommodations (shoulder for me). I've tried 3 of the specialty classes - motivating and fun! Yoga practice is exceptional - the sessions are excellent and thoughtful - my flexibility is up and my stress level is down. Nutrition program is relatively new and I haven't taken full advantage, but you can use as much or as little as you want; I take recipe ideas and short term challenges that help motivate me. I've recently become a fan of green drinks, which I would never have done on my own! Useful info on healthy lifestyle, graceful aging and life balance. The satisfaction of members is a top priority there. The coaches genuinely care about helping clients achieve their goals and the front desk staff are always making sure to keep an eye out for milestones to celebrate when members reach a certain goal/number of classes and even birthdays! The whole atmosphere is very welcoming and friendly. Everyone is always cheering each other on and it's like being a part of a little gym family :) I'm currently a sales associate at this N.
