I enjoy the workers every time I visit this store, Alan, Big J, John, Moe, etc. Are always welcoming faces. But their Management needs to go. On more than one occasion at Market Max (73029 LA-25, Covington, LA 70435), I have witnessed the manager behaving in a way that was extremely unprofessional. She was openly yelling at employees in front of customers, which created an uncomfortable and hostile environment for both staff and shoppers. It's difficult to feel welcome in a store where management appears to treat employees disrespectfully. I understand that retail can be stressful, but leadership sets the tone for the entire store. Addressing staff in a calm and respectful manner--especially in front of customers--would go a long way toward improving the atmosphere. This location has potential, but it truly needs stronger, more professional management. I hope ownership takes this feedback seriously and works toward creating a healthier environment for both employees and customers.

The station seems to be older and a bit run down, but that could be because it is so busy. There are a good amount of pumps, but the station was jammed with people fueling up and going inside. The inside store is typical of most larger stations and the cashier was pleasant. There was a lot of construction going on in front of the station so entering and exiting was a bit difficult. They have always been efficient, knowledgeable, empathetic, friendly, and helpful. Like all pharmacies, I get the feeling that they get extremely busy sometimes due to understaffing, but through it all they perform well. I'm pleased to recommend my local Walgreens.

I thought plaque dont crack yet here we are ? did she not go to college -and go through a hiring process -to get this job ??? she is actually throwing herself down the trash by being rude to the sick patients who come for their medications ? Her colleagues jaws dropped as she humiliated herself at my expense . I called the cvs complaint hotline for them to take the report and the operator took his reports and said they will do an internal investigation (into what I consider to be patient abuse) ! Be proud of who you are and what you represent , think for your co workers , customers, humanity , the oath you took or the amount of student debt it took for you to get here to act this way This is not how you treat infirmary customers looking for relief !!! Also in an economy where nobody can get a job , count your lucky stars you actually have one before you use it to get fired

In an experience that mimics my previous review, but this time with the eye rolling Dymond S. who would not utter a word to me despite my attempt at pleasantries - yet she would stop the transaction to say hello and see how someone (who was obviously a friend) was doing whilst the friend was walking out the door. Then immediately back to ignoring me. She then proceeded to throw my Veuve Clicquot into the same bag as the Tiger Sauce - with nothing but a small paper bag to contain the shards should they have busted against one another. And then without a word or even eye contact, held my receipt out for me to take. What is wrong with this location that their cashiers can't just be decent human beings and employ basic kindness to customers? The ambience of the place is different as it's located in a convenient store right next to a beauty supply store that's located in the same building. The people seem friendly there, and we're kind to say the least. When I came to the food, there were so many selections to choose from, and even things in the back. Ring from the south I wanted to try some deep Southern cuisine that most would consider offals in the foodie community. I tried the fried beef tripe. I also tried a boiled pigs foot and some shrimp fried rice. I started to order the fried chicken, but it looks as though it was covered in grease so left it alone. Overall, the food is pretty good, and I had lots of smiles. It sort of reminded me of back home. I would suggest going to try it out, experience it for yourself, the food as well, seasoned and quite tasty, and the service was quite friendly the locals seem to really enjoy it.
