When we arrived, we were greeted promptly by several employees. They asked us to head to one of the counters in the back and they would assist us shortly. They were so enthusiastic about the Gameboy games my fiancé had. It was nice to see them get excited about games that were popular in the 90's and 2000's. We overheard them saying that they typically match whatever GameStop is currently offering in store credit. To our surprise, they gave my fiancé more than GameStop would have if we would've gone there. This is why it matters to support small businesses. We were happy with the level of service we received here and will definitely be back.

The store also has a generous policy on returns - for both used and new merchandise - that puts other gaming stores to shame. Space was a serious issue for their old location because it seriously felt like the aisles where sandwiching you in after awhile, and they rarely had enough room to show off their clothing, books, and other items. But the new location is at least twice the size and gives them the much needed space to sell the other items. and as Fourth Friday revealed it gave them the chance to do a lot more like showcase art and bands. if your not into goth/industrial music (I'm recovering from it myself) then you're probably not going to be down with a good 75% of the merchandise. But they are well stocked with plenty of obscure 80's music (Remember "Rock Me Amadeus" by Falco? Apparently he has has 8-10 albums. who knew?). And they have plenty of music by the likes of Bjork, Patti Smith, and Ladytron to go through. And it's a great spot to go for random gifts like Star Trek Vinyl and Cthulu dolls. So while it might not be for everybody, Digital Ferret does have enough to make it great.

Everyone had their own little groups and pods so as someone who is alone I feel out of place and had to sit at the cafe. The bright side is they are moving to a bigger location if I heard that right so I am excited for the team and company. To sum up the location it's a place you can play video games. You can rent a room/theatre lounge for private events/gathering. You can rent a computer/consoles to play. You can join a community to play card games, they even have board games to use. I even went to the Grammies one year with Rage Against the Machine. The year Dylan won the Grammy, 1997 or 98. Great after party, btw. But I digress. Located on the site of an older, much more modest music store from much earlier, the current owners have remodeled and built up the floor space upstairs and downstairs substantially. 1). this store is packed with vinyl. The bins are full of vinyl, and the walls are covered with collector's vinyl. Stuff even I have not seen. 2). Their Jazz bins are awesome, full of great stuff, including an LP by the late, great Wardell Gray! 3). The Rock Bins are rolling with every kind of music, including folk, rock, new wave, punk, newer rock, you name it, it's probably here. 4). Downstairs is a load of classical music. Amazing! 5). The person running the store, Andrea, was super nice, professional, courteous and kind. Very helpful and personable. Also, knew her stock and offered many suggestions. She and her husband operate this store. I could go on, but in sum, this is by far the best used vinyl record store in all of Philadelphia and it's right here in Delaware County!!!! Also, they have a forty seat amphitheater for live concerts next door! Very proud to write this review. An epic store.
