They resized it, but somehow weakend the band. It bent in less than a week. Note, we did our clean up after the wedding and the original ring never bent. After taking it back to have them fix the mistake they made on the ring, they blamed it on the silver. They even ordered a replacement. We never asked for a replacement. Just stand behind your work. If you make a mistake, RESPECT the customer. Talk professionally and don't assume we want money. I went to the jewelry store and just took the original ring back. No apology for the disrespect came from James. Stand behind your work instead of defending the mistake that caused the bend. I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

Unfortunately, after a few visits, I was not greeted with the same kindness as initially given, mainly I believe because my ring wasn't made there. However, before the service, I had asked for the option for them to work on my ring, and the representative said with confidence that they could do it. After the work was done, I was given a receipt double for what I was quoted, and received a sub-par work. The finish was not smooth and the details looked rough. When I confronted this issue, I was met with some off-putting comments about ordering my ring, and they just "undid" the work within five minutes. I wish I never requested that service because now my ring has the minor details that still looks unprofessional, and I still paid for the service that was undone after it wasn't done well. The issue is, I didn't expect them to doing customizations on a ring that was uniquely made or made by a different company. The issue is that the individual that helped me was confident in saying they could do the service I asked about, AND the charged me for it, and it was clearly not done well... So much so, that it took five minutes to undo it, and even then, with an undesirable finish. I don't think I'll be taking any more services from them unfortunately because of this experience, and I do want to make it clear that my unfortunate experience isn't their default. I just wish I didn't spend time and money on something if that wasn't their specialty to begin with. If you want custom designs with them, they'll probably do a great job with it, but if you have a ring that isn't made by them, and you want to add customizations, it's best to reach out to other jewelers.
