I took my car there for a simple alternator rebuild. It was on a Thursday and they told me they…read morewould have it ready on Friday. Needless to say ,after all kinds of excuses on Tues. evening right at closing time they called!. When i arrived He quoted me a ridiculous amount ($370) then told me we had a problem--the car would'nt start .After a few words I paid him $270 and he told me I had to get it off his property. I towed it home and saw where they had broken a wire that went to the crankshaft position sensor. they left a mounting bolt out of the alternator and never put the heat shield back on . It's been 2 weeks and my car still won't start!! Put a new sensor and wire on it. PCM must be bad.

I brought my Moto G 5G (2023) to the Battery Joe on Georgia Street with ONE problem -- a cracked…read morescreen. The phone worked fine. The power button worked, the battery was normal, and nothing was wrong with it except the screen. After they took it to the back, suddenly I was told my power button was broken and my battery was swollen. That is not the condition I walked in with. These problems appeared only after they handled my phone. They also gave me my cracked screen back in worse shape and did NOT return the tools or the new screen packaging that I brought in. That's shady and unprofessional. It makes it look like something went wrong while they were working on it and they didn't want to admit it. Instead of taking responsibility, they tried to act like the damage was already there. It wasn't. I know my own device, and I know exactly how it was working before I handed it over. I've already filed a BBB complaint because the way I was treated at this location was unfair, dismissive, and completely unacceptable. Management needs to step up and address this situation.

Good luck with these guys honoring a warranty. They like to place the blame on anything but their product.
