I was very open to the idea, but didn't really know where to start in terms of finding the right person who was experienced and could play the songs we wanted. Thankfully, she already had someone in mind in Xander as he was also hired to play for my wife's sister's wedding a few years before. Boy oh boy, was he the PERFECT man to hire for our special day! We liked Xander (or Alex as we called him) from the day we first met with him at his studio. His broad range of music knowledge was mind-blowing and there was literally not one song that he didn't know how to play on our list! I requested a pretty tricky Beatles song (which I eventually walked down the aisle to) and literally teared up as he was playing it for us. Interestingly enough, that was his first time EVER playing the song on guitar, which just speaks for how good this guy is! Our wedding day came and we received countless compliments from guests about Alex's playing. He showed up dressed sharp, was VERY professional, and had a smile on his face the whole time. Best part about this guy is that you can tell he genuinely loves what he does. It definitely shows in his music! We seriously could not have asked for anything more from our musician on our wedding day and we WILL be requesting Alex's services in the future!
