Terrible experience having to deal with what i believe is illegal overcharges and an arrogant leadership/ customer service and management team. I was told biweekly charge for 2 months on an account that was unfrozen without notification was to be expected from the fine print document I had signed when I initially signed up for the memership. No one person was able to follow up on the concern or acknowledge the fact that I did not use the service or get notified that I would be charge. I mentioned that per the customer protect act, unambiguity on part of a company is illegal. This did not change their decision. On looking up this company on google, their own employees had a legal battle against them for wages. Their arrogance with customers should not be suprising. read more

I was there member for just more than 1 year. Everything was going well but 1 day I was just told that I can't park my bike inside corner(for which I talked before even taking membership). First I was warned by employee who wasn't even wearing uniform then I was told by second employee that I must remove my bike. But I don't blame them as they were just doing their job. Real person was there manager who told me that bike face is not customer friendly. Even if he had told me not to bring from next time, I wouldn't have cancelled my membership and not written this review. read more

GoodLife fitness is the worse gym that you could sign up for a trainer with! GoodLife fitness is about the name and sterotyping. "The trainer" and manager at Bramalae City Centre pretend to be the nicest most trust worthy pesron you will meet on God's earth. I ask for 6 months contract I was sign- up for a year without my knowledge, all they do is rush for you to sign before your workout. The trainer breached the contract on all levels and I decided to cancell my contract- Fine, there is a buy out fee that I am not refusing to pay. However, If a contract was breached on Goodlife fitness behalf's why should I pay the full buy out fee. I called the head ofiice and various branches there is no one to talk to or reslove my concern...The only robotic saying they all have is..."You have to buy out the contract". I went for one hour training and all the equipmet are unavailable and all over the place. It's jampacked and disgusting - Covid is still in exsistence and we all have to use the equipment without them being cleaned. If they had a rating of "Zero" I would choose it. People must call a spade a spade! I thought Goodlife fitness was the best in their class. You all should try the private gyms " T B F". You guys at GoodLife do not care about anyone but the money you collect. Time is the Master of everything. "You all have NO integrity!!!!!" I value quality for my money - not the hype! read more

Out of the many Goodlife locations that I've been to, this is the best one! This gym is located inside the Bramalea mall and is massive offering a wide selection of cardio equipment and weights. The gym itself is large in capacity and has an indoor pool as well as a women's only section. Due to the fact that the equipment is well maintained by the cleaners consistently, there is never that stenchy gym odour smell. The women's changeroom is massive and always clean! Overall, a great and convenient facility for a quick workout. read more

At first I didn't like this gym because it was underground with no windows. I quickly realized after a couple tries that I really liked the equipment, classes, and women's only side. I like that they have showers, soap, conditioner, moisturizer, and hair dryers for everyone to use. I also enjoyed the sauna after a shower and the massage chairs while waiting for my ride. I love the teacher's of the classes. Body Combat being my favourite. They are so motivating, it is probably the only time you'll see me smiling while working out, they just make it so much fun and the music suits the moves really well. The staff is pretty lax at the front desk. I had an ordeal once where they wouldn't check the change room for my boyfriend's tie, it ended up being there so it was all good. read more

really poor maintenance! the only way in our out of this gym is via escalator. and the escalator going up is broken! for 3 f..king months now. i am severely arthritic in my knees. i need to use the facility to my core, swim and use other services. i find it hard to go up or down the stairs. effectively making my membership useless. will goodlife refund me because i can't enter their gym due to broken escalator? read more

I have been going here for a year and half. Pros: price (14$ bi weekly), friendly staff, spacious, a lot of equipment, fun classes Cons: i really wish they had more times allotted to organize their weights. I see them do rounds but not a lot. Dont allow you to use their kettlebells. read more

Goodlife is good for my life. . . Actually it is, which is why I love coming to this place. It's conveniently located next to my gf's house so her and I come her often--well actually we'd rather be eating, but we still come here from time to time. The gym itself is awesome, it has every piece of workout equipment imaginable and they even have massage chairs! I know right? Massage chairs!!! Other than that, there are your standard showers but what I like about Goodlife is that they also provide you with shampoo and bodywash. The facility here is maintained well and it's clean. I highly recommend trying out one of their classes that they offer throughout the week. All the instructors I have come across are great at what they do. I really enjoy going to the classes. Overall I rate the place a solid 4 stars. I just wish it wasn't as busy and open a bit later. As it's inside a mall, the gym usually closes the same time as the mall which is inconvenient but I still love this place. read more

You will be cheated anyway even if you have NO COMMITMENT for Gym Membership. They will charge you big initial amount for NO COMMITMENT and when you will cancel they will withdraw the Full Current Month + One Extra Month Payment. Immediately after joining Goodlife fitness they will try to pull you in OTHER CONTRACTS like with Trainers and it will be approximately ($65/session x 3 days in a week x 52 weeks=$10140+1318.20 HST). If you are not able to read thoroughly, I am sure their staff will be successful in getting your signature. After 10 days you will not be able to cancel and you have to pay all the money. I think they should change their name from Goodlife Fitness to GOODLIFE CASHINO - that better define its operations. read more

Are you one for adventure? Do you like searching far and wide for the proper dumbells, bar bells, or clips you need for your workout? Do you like finding the dumbbells you couldn't find earlier in the workout across the gym from where they're supposed to be? If you answered yes to any of these questions, this is the gym for you. Now, I have been to a lot of goodlife fitness locations across Canada while travelling for work. In fact, that's why I'm a member. Other than in Quebec, you can usually find a Goodlife location in every decent-sized Canadian town. However, in terms of clutter and cleanliness, this is the worst Goodlife I have ever been to. NONE of the dumbbells were in their proper spot on the rack, barbells were spread out all over the place and never put back, countless people walked away from equipment without cleaning it, or reracking their weights. Yes, I get it. Some people are just terrible and think they're too important to have to put weights back, there will always be those people. BUT, that attitude stems from the fact that their is clearly ZERO accountability put on members at this gym to return things and that starts with staff and management. There were two associates at the front counter this morning who spent their time texting, and talking. One of them easily could have been straightening up and putting weight away. They could even have done it in shifts. I spent 20 minutes of my own time cleaning up the dumbbell area because it was bothering me so much. It looked terrible and you could never find the proper weights. Even the trainers weren't putting things away or wiping equipment down after using it with their clients. ALSO, all of the cable machines had their carabiners welded on, meaning that you couldn't swap the handles for a different setup. This is ridiculous. Do people really steal carabiners? And if they do, come on people. But the worst part is: This gym is actually really nice, new, and has all the equipment you need. It's also one of the first Goodlifes I've been to where you can tell they actually thoroughly clean the showers and changerooms. Too bad the place is an absolute weight-cluttered mess. Decent gym. Lots of TVs, weights and equipment but not enough clips for heavy weightlifting. And staff are friendly, but the turnover rate is high. Lastly, they don't offer a starter fitness program but want you to purchase personal training packages. It's a superficial for-profit gym, but it gets the job done if you're simply looking for a decent place to workout and maybe catch whatever's on tv at the same time. It's a shame there isn't a way to enter on they're level I am in a wheelchair walker at best but not willing to try and navigate the escalator with my weak legs and a walker. It's a shame because I wanted to get a membership to work on my legs so I can get back to walking and leading a normal life it's long over due. read more

All Staff and manager at are unprofessional and rude. They give wrong information about cancellation or downgrading fee and hide it from their customers. Change fee is no where mentioned even on the contract. In their no commitment plan their is still 30 days notice period. If it is no commitment, then why 30 days notice. Their facilities steam room is almost always broken for a month sometimes more than a month. They do not get it repaired quickly. They just leave it closed maybe from inside the Gym and let people suffer without this facility. When you complaint no one notice. Even I called head office and their staff at Goodlife head office is also unprofessional and rude. They cover their staff even though their staff at the Gym Lie and does not give right information. Total fraud about lie and hiding cancellation/downgrade/change fee. Rude staff, unprofessional ethics. If the manager in the Gym, their Head office staff is rude and unprofessional, what you can expect from the rest of staff. Not even one star. I will not recommend anyone join this Gym. Refrain from this GYM. HIDDEN CANCELATION FEES/MACHINES/STEAMROOM ALWAYS BROKEN. Its a big risk to join this Gym where nobody listens to you from Top to Bottom. read more

Incompetent and such a waste of time talking to employees who do not know how to handle situations. Wanted to cancel my membership right away since out of the province and have no access to it anymore. Was talking to the Member Experience Department to cancel my membership and 2 days after they charged me again. I demanded my money back but I guess that's not happening. They also ignored two of my emails which enraged me even more. Wish they know how to address issues like this one properly. read more

This gym is fairly new but seriously not being managed properly. The pools are dirty and the steam room forget it, it doesn't work at all. It's ok if you looking for a place to work out, a little disorganized but if you can handle it. I bought a year membership but am out as soon as my membership ends read more

I was at the the Bramalea City Centre GoodLife Fitness a few days ago and asked to see their pool schedule. An employee showed me a schedule that said the pool was open from 7am on Sundays. I told her that according to their website the gym opened at 8am on Sundays, not 7am, but she insisted that the pool schedule was correct in that the pool was open from 7am on Sundays. I see employees milling around, seemingly doing nothing, yet no one notices this error. Also in the weights area, weights all over the place, people that put hundreds of pounds on the bench press don't bother to put the weights back when they are done, no employee around in the weight area to encourage them to do so. There is certainly room for improvement in managing this gym. read more

About the gym trainers (Mayfield & Brampton), David Tran, is a very dedicated trainer that focuses on each customer regardless of what they're supposed to do in that moment. David is essentially someone that has a nice sense of humor, is kind-hearted and quiet. He gives out workout tips to other customers even though they aren't his without any hesitation.0 read more

I've been to a fair share of Goodlife gyms around the GTA and outside and this one is possibly my favourite. Not only is the gym big, well maintained, stocked with great equipment... the service and trainers here are good. I used a trainer here for 3 months and go the best results I ever had! I lived in this area for about 2 years and I came here religiously. I didn't mind going to this gym because it's just a pleasant place to work out. It's in the basement of the Bramalea City Centre and though it's in the basement, it's not cramped at all. It's spacious, well laid out, open, and has high ceilings. The place is also clean. There mat area and stretching area is almost as big as most Goodlife free weight area. It has a lot of various equipments for ab exercises and some of them I've never seen before. The free weight area is really big. I've never had to wait for a bench though I've had to wait for the smaller sized free weights. It's more geared towards men (more on that later). There are more elipticals, running, stair climbing equipment I've seen here in most places. Even at the peak hours, you can find a machine easily. All of them are well maintained and they're fairly new. As for the trainers, I had one phenomenal one and one fairly good one. I wanted to be really toned and this trainer understood the fine line between being BIG and toned and just toned. In less than 8 weeks there was a big difference in my body composition and in 12 weeks, I was near my goal. I've never seen such results so quickly PLUS she was a sweet trainer. She was encouraging, knowledgeable, and very helpful all the way. I really miss her as my trainer when she moved. The trainer that replaced her didn't get what I want but he was very nice and encouraging. I soon ended my lessons after that. There's one funny thing about this gym. This is where the Brampton OHL hockey team works out. It's pretty obvious when they come in as they're all the same. Tall, athletic, and young... ANNNND hounded by 'puck bunnies'. I've never seen so many young girls just primp for sitting around at a gym. It makes for amusing moments to watch them try to flirt with the guys. Overall, great place... I just wish all the other Goodlife clubs was like this when I had my membership with them. read more

NEW GYM EQUIPMENT!!!! I'm currently signed with this gym. It's a good size with a good amount of machines. The employes are really nice and helpful. The gym has a nice atmosphere, there are a lot of random people that help you with your form and workouts. The machines are in good shape. I love it here!! read more

Amazing place to go to. Everyone treats you like family. You walk in and everyone greets you with a hello. I've only had one problem. Where I was waiting to talk to someone and all they were doing in talking to each other at the desk. Also the employees (trainers) we're in the change room, I had my daughter in there with me and they were swearing, wasn't impressed with this as it is a company that allows children in there. I think this is suppose to be a place of business. read more

If you want a gym to take your money, this is the place to go to. I was still getting charged even after canceling my membership with the "no contract" membership plan and they didn't want to give me money back because I "didn't give enough notice". I also tried their one on one personal trainers, and after my first session, he left 20 minutes early for my one hour session. read more

Had a horrible time trying to sign up at this gym. One of the trainers named Mike was the one who helped me. He seemed nice at first, but then quickly went into the used car salesman routine. He offered me a "one time only opportunity" of getting half off personal training at the gym when I signed up. I told him politely no, and that I was not interested. He continued to go on about it, and I let him talk. When he finished I told him no again, that I wasn't interested. I had a rather annoyed look in my eye. I asked to have a walk around the gym, and he showed me around. Again he talked about the personal training. He asked what my goals were, and I said that I just wanted to work out. He said, "well, you have to have a goal. What are you looking to achieve?" I said just to have a place to run on the treadmill. He continued on to talk about how you have to have goals so you can meet them, blah blah blah. Then talk about the personal training again! I told him that I had no interest in it, and that I didn't want to talk about it any more. He said sure thing that he wouldn't say a word about it. I was so upset at this point. I couldn't believe how pushy he was, and just wouldn't stop. We walked back to the counter to sign up, and just when I'm signing the contract, he starts pushing it again! This is after he told me he wouldn't say any more. I have never met someone so pushy in my life. Worse than any used car salesman. I threw up my arms, and told him my blood pressure was up to here. I told him absolutely no! He just wouldn't take the hint, even if I rubbed it in his face. I went from having a nice day, and looking forward to signing up at the gym, to going home angry because this a-hole wouldn't shut his mouth about the personal training. Maybe the other people working there are nicer, but just be on the look out for Mike. If you see him, ask to talk to someone else, or come back a different day. It's just not worth it. read more
