I started there at only 16 years old as a minor, and Fernando Zulick intentionally and illegally forced me to work for 22 straight months without being paid a single penny while I was an employee. I witnessed so many crimes that Fernando Zulick and the gym committed. They illegally had people sleeping inside the facility even though it was not zoned for residential use. Over the years, they had minors, a pregnant woman, and dozens of adults living there in literally life-threatening, rat-infested conditions. They also hosted ACE Jiu Jitsu Pro Cup shows, and I worked at these events. They cooked food out of a rat-infested kitchen with no permits and no legal authority to operate, and they illegally sold this food to the public, including children and women. The people selling this food were on visitor visas illegally working and getting paid illegally low wages. Do not come here ever. If you are there, leave immediately.

Rafi is by far the best instructor, I've met. Not only does he have the necessary experience and background coming from the IDF (Isrealy Defense Force) but he cares about teaching his customers. He also has a heart of gold. He is great with kids and adults alike. If you sometimes feel scared walking down the street at night, Krav Maga is the martial art for you, if Krav Maga is the art for you then Rafi is the instructor to teach you.

This place mostly focuses on Krav Maga and conditioning and honestly doesn't look like much from the outside. I hesitated a few times before taking a class a few months ago just because of how it looked. Signage is pretty dim and it's in an industrial building. The inside is ok, but it is lacking a true change room (i.e. no lockers) but they have a washroom. I ended up taking the Adult Foundation class and it was more of a boot camp/cross fit type class with some random punching and kicking in between. It was a great workout however, I wasn't a fan that they asked us to start kicking and punching bags without any proper technique. They might have gone over this in the next class, but I was way too tired to do a class afterwards. Verdict: From the one class I took, it was amazing conditioning, and the instructors and students are friendly. My only recommendation would be to make the class schedule more clear and let people know whether it is a conditioning or technique. I might try it again next year but I definitely would have preferred more focus on technique.
